I was able to choose my PV from the many post that people have shared on the ECF about the journey they took to obtain their favorite PV. I was hoping that you could share the journey you took to come up with your all day vape and/or your favorite juice that could help me choose one as well.

So far I've ordered samplers and small sizes from a lot of vendors. My favorites have not ended up being what I expected when I started. I thought it would be a tobacco or fruit flavor. Instead, my favs are vanilla, butterscotch, caramel cheesecake and waffle. It has surprised me. I also like the tobacco flavors from BWB but they have not become a fav. Taste is so individual. What I hate, others love. It is certainly a personal journey to find ones favorite juice. I ordered a Red Bull flavor I hated but my son loved so you never know until you try something. I've also found I need variety throughout the day while my son has settled on a couple of flavors and is quite happy.

The best juice/all day vape to each of us, will be entirely different. What I love, you might not.
What others have suggested in other posts as the "most wonderful juice ever", was juice I
hated.
The only way for you to find the perfect all day juice, is for you to experiment for yourself.
I have over 50 bottles of juice at the present time. I bought small bottles from about 8
different vendors for trial vaping. I hate some, I like some, and some I really like, but none
that are the "perfect" juice bythemselves. There is no one juice that gives me my all day vape.
As a prior menthol smoker, I ordered many different menthols. None by themself, worked.
I now use as my "menthol", a juice that has cinnamon and menthol, which is Pure Smokers
Fire and Ice. By itself, it's too much. So I mix that with 2 tobacco flavors and little extra
VG and a few drops of PGA for a little extra TH. This is all mixed into a bottle and that is
what I fill from. Fire and Ice is the only juice I buy large bottles in.
So right now, that's my all day vape, but it too is subject to change.
My taste buds have changed a couple different times thru out this journey after I got off
the analogs, therefor adjustments had to be made along the way and will probably
continue to have adjustments as I understand that they will probably change again.
Now to throw another kicker into this whole sceniaro....juice I did not like 30 days ago,
is not too bad today!

Buying the right PV was easy.....the "right" juice...not so easy.

I went through a lot of 100% PG and 100% VG mixes to find that 70/30 is my favorite. BWB seems to have the mix down pat at the 70/30 level. It's the best taste/vapor combo for me. MY all day vapes are varied. I switch around from 555 to Applewood and Malty Toffee. Occasionally I veer toward a caramel based vape or one with key lime.

Taste buds change and a change in juices keeps them confused enough to recognize the switch. That's why I switch around until I find the one that I can taste when the flavor goes flat on another.

Remember the old cigarette commercials? "You current cigarette tasting flat? Try xxxxx!"

I ordered samples from many vendors in a variety of strength and pg/vg rations. I also read a lot of the threads in the e-liquid discussion section. While I liked many of them most were not something I could vape all day without getting tired of it. I find I like coffee and tobacco flavored vapes the best for all day, which are things I'm used to tasting all day anyway. I still love the occasional bakery (blueberry waffle, cinnamon danish), fruit (apple, watermelon), and candy (black licorice, caramel cream) juices too.

My journey ended quite awhile ago, with the conclusion being that there is no such thing as my favorite juice.
Or to put it more precisely, my favorite juice changes by the minute, the hour, the day, and/or the week.

EDIT: I guess I should add to that a little...

So I started by trying fruit flavors and decided I would never like any of them.
So I moved towards bakery, sweet, tobacco flavors, and coffee flavors

The I determined after trial and error that I wanted at least 20% VG in my juices for more vapor.

I have settled on my two favorite tobacco flavors...
--DK-TAB from Dekang
--RY4 from Dekang

Also, after much trial and error I have settled on my favorite juice vendor (Tasty Vapor) for sweet and bakery flavors.

My favorites, though, in order of how often they are my favorite at any given moment...
--Caramel popcorn
--Almond horn
--Tastyfinger
--Chocolate mint chip

I still run across flavors here and there from places other than Tasty Vapor that I like enough to keep...
--Ms T's Bakery cinnamon roll
--Ms T's Bakery pizza
--Backwoods Brew malty toffee
--MyFreedomSmokes keoke coffee
--FreedomSmokeUSA RY4

I had no clue to start. Because of their low price I was smoking Pall Mall Orange when I quit but I didn't like Pall Mall Orange so I did not want a Pall Mall juice. So I just started buying tons of samplers of mostly tobacco flavors and also some goofy flavors. Most of the tobaccos were OK but just didn't satisfy my soul. I wanted something like my old fave Capri Ultralights that got too expensive for me. So I went on the cigarette maker's site and saw double-checked that there indeed was cocoa in those Capris then went looking for a tobacco with cocoa in it. I found Backwoods Brew Casablanca, a Turkish blend w/ cocoa and other complex flavors. And it became my all day vape!

Then that led me to try other Turkish blends and I found I liked FSUSA's Desert Ship and mixing in other flavors with it according to mood (like vanilla, chocolate, or sweet caramelly oRYental 4 from FSUSA). Then that made led me to vaping mostly oRYental 4 and/or vanillas, with occasional chocolates, as well as vaping BWB Casablanca. ANd that's where I am right now.

I got into mixing from the start as all the info I read was similar to that of the other posters. As DC2 said you change and the once perfect becomes a meer shaddow and goes to the back of the shelf. Mixing your own is a cheap way of trying lots of flavours and I like the mixing game a lot. It is a bit fiddly but well worth the rewards I recomend it to you.

PV choices were just about waiting for some technology to be put into them. Provari ended the search for that.

Juices: Me and wifey started DIY right at the start so we didnt have to spend tons guessing on random e-store juice. Its like 6 cents a ML to make our own, and we can try whatever. We dont even mix small bateches anymore to test, we do 10ml bottles, and if they suck, we dump them down the sink. Takes a little bit of work, but at 1/10th, the cost, well worth the effort.

I loved Djarum Blacks till they banned it. Now I just found american eliquid djarum black totally by luck. I just ordered a small bottle and loved it. So I did research on diy. Last week I got 60 ml flavor of djarum black, 60 ml @ 100 mg nic. 100proof vodka and some VG. This is awesome. 20% Flavor 20% nic and 60 % Vg plus few drops vodka in 10 ml bottle. I am good to go. Under 100 bucks I can make 300 ml of this juice. For me that is 20 weeks of vaping before I have to spend another 100 dollars. Comparing that to $9 for 2 packs day reg cigs. I am saving so much more. IF they lift ban on Blacks I might have to try them again to see how it tastes. lol

I've just always kept my options open and try flavors that I think I'll like. I've only bought or created a few that just didn't work out. I gave up looking for the "all day vape" because, at least for me, there really isn't one. I like too many different flavors and my tastes change frequently. I might vape four or five different flavors throughout the day. My favorites right now are DIY Chocolate Hazelnut Coffee, Strawberry Banana Smoothie and Chocolate Eclair and Blue Bulls. From Gourmet Vapor I've been using a lot of Mocha Smoke, Pom-Blu and Maiden Coffee.

My vaping mantra these days is "If it tastes good, vape it!"

I avoided all the hassles and expense of trying to find the perfect e-liquid, because I found the perfect e-liquid (for me) six days after I started vaping -- and it was my first purchase of e-liquid. I had read a lot of posts talking about a certain e-liquid, and I had read a lot of posts recommending FSUSA as the best e-liquid supplier, so I ordered that pre-mixed e-liquid from FSUSA and loved it from the beginning, but I wanted to lighten it up a bit, so I ordered a second e-liquid that I thought would go good with it and mixed it with the first e-liquid. The mixture was perfect from the start, and the only thing I changed about a month later was to add two more e-liquids (from FSUSA - yes, I prefer FlavourArt flavorings over any others; there's no comparison...). And I'm still vaping only that mixture, and most likely, always will.

In the last two months, I discovered the flavors used in the first e-liquid, so I'll be making it myself, but I have enough of the pre-mixed liquid from FSUSA to last about a year, so there's no hurry to mix up a large batch yet (all FlavourArt flavorings). The four e-liquids (mixed together) that I 've vaped for about 4½ months are listed in my signature. I don't change what I vape. When I've done that on rare occasions (when testing a few different flavorings), my taste buds get messed up, so I just stick with the same juice and have no desire to change, because I love it.

i tried a ton of different juice genres:fruit, dessert, novelty/candy, tobacco, etc. i really got into dessert flavors but then i found myself craving cigs more and more. a pack here and there turned into 2 or 3 week. i've since discovered that the only juices that keep me away from cigs are the more hardcore tobacco ones like purecig from fsusa. now wanting a cig doesn't even pass through my mind.
