I've been scouring the forums over the last week and have seen a lot of different terms in regard to liquids like steeping. Leaving the bottle open for days, etc.

My question is: Can the liquid I get in the mail be improved or preserved by some method?

FYI: I'm huge into cooking so flavor is a big deal to me. If there's something I can do to the liquid to make it better I'm more likely to do it than modify my PV or something. Thanks in advance!

The guys at Vaporcast seemed to suggest that some flavors (I think they mentioned this for menthol in particular) do "age" well. I guess once the menthol mingles more with the liquid over time. With that in mind, shaking the bottle before going to bed will probably ensure the flavor is consistent from day to day, or I imagine that might even improve it. I'd say it probably depends on if you're using PG or VG since those two have different viscosity (VG being thicker.) I've never really noticed anything major with a straight PG liquid, but with high-VG ratio juices I do think shaking it occasionally helped the flavor of the juice. Could all just be in my head too.
