I live in the middle of the desert, with summer coming up. I am worried that if I don't pick up my liquids as soon as they are dropped off, then they will go bad. Is this a problem I should be worried about? If so, how long do you think I would have to get them if the heat is over 100 F?

I live in Las Vegas, NV. Where temps can get as high as 130 F on a really bad day, but averages 115 F in the summer.

I think if you picked them up +/- a few hours they should be ok. It must get pretty hot in the tanks too without damage. You might consider adding shade in the area they are dropped off at - or ask for them to be put on the porch where cooling from the house might help (maybe I had poor insulation), or delivered to a neighbor? I live in Tucson and have had other products survive just fine. Call it "desert-steeping".

Thanks for the advice. I live in a condo with a shared mail box area that has no shade. So I guess I just need to stay on top of things.

If anything I would think it would help along in the steeping process. I don't know how the plastic bottles would leach or break down in the heat but I don't think one day would have a major effect. This is all just my opionion based on my limited experience of coure.
