There is a thread somewhere about the causes of refrigeration. Simply put, refrigeration causes condensation, in turn, your juice will likely go bad.

Put your good ones in a box and store them out of sunlight and in a cool place like a basement. I've had juice last a long time without going bad doing this.

I'm another that has learned the hard way. I lost about 150ml of juices from storing them in the refrigerator. I'm looking for that thread now. Thanks for the info.

Edit: After reading through this link, I'm wondering if my juices went bad from storing them in the fridge or for another reason. I may open another thread to see what the latest thinking is. To fridge or not to fridge? - UK Vapers

Good link, had a link to ecf in there: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ttle-help-freezing-nic-juice.html#post2126610
As a professional chemist, I would recommend storing long term in glass. Nic in high concentration will slowly dissolve plastic, and PG will leach plasticizers from plastic. VG might too.

Sun's fridge issues were with flavored juices stored six months, some of which were not even opened. I believe they were early Johnson Creek. The culprit was probably water in the JC recipe. I think decomp would have happened anyway, regardless. I do not think it was necessarily the fridge itself.

..............

This long term storage is for unflavored, and undiluted nic-juice only. I do not store flavored DIYs this way. I make them in relatively small quantities and vape them up before making more. Flavors are probably the most unstable part of e-juice, and the presence of water in them will hasten their decomposition into nasty tasting products. Fridge cold does not really change this a lot, it is dependent on the flavor itself. Fruits are especially prone, since they are esters that tend to hydrolyze to organic acids (sour, vinegar, vomit taste) and organic alcohols (wet-dog, funky taste).
Found this interesting.

Bad Juice? I mentioned this before in another thread but thought some of you might be interested. Almost two years ago when I started vaping, there was a fear the government was going to stop the juice supply in the US. There weren't many if any US juice makers except J.C. in the states. Many of us bought large supplies of juice. I had a couple dozen bottles of Dekang Camel put away. Over a year later I opened a bottle of the juice. It tasted just like the juice did when I first bought it. All I did was to store the juice in a heated finished basement storage area, out of the sun light. I opened another bottle about four months later and it was the same. It hadn't lost anything. This was Dekang juice, actually a very good batch. I'm going to open another bottle in a few weeks, my two year anniversary for vaping. I think if you have a good blend and batch, keep it in a low light temperature controlled environment, juice should last at least two years. My basement is heated and air conditioned, about 68 degrees all year. If a juice dies on you in a few months and you have kept it in a proper environment, CALL the seller. It shouldn't happen. I bought a juice from Ms T's that stated the juice was best if used by, I think it was six months, maybe it was nine months. This is fine because you have been advised from the blender. If there is no best by date, should be good for several years. Sorry for being long winded, but this is a important subject.

If you buy some fresh juice and it doesn't taste right, put it away for a few weeks to age/steep. Leave the bottle open to air for 24 hours - away from small hands and pets, replace the caps and as it ages, give it a shake every once in a while.

Some juices need one week some more, depending on your tastes. But don't throw anything away until you've done this.

I had to reply to this. It's the closest description of how my new order of juice taste.

I ordered 3 bottles, 3 different flavors, and they all taste moldy. It's like vaping condensate from a very old air conditioner. I went back to my other juices for a week and they were fine. Went back to the new ones and still the same bad taste. My coworker described it as "bad fruit" so I know it's not just me. And yes I've throughly cleaned and tested my equipment and let the juice sit. Hopefully customer service will get this worked out. I didn't want to bother them until I was sure it wasn't an issue on my side.

I found that with juice and I think its our progression in vaping. I will mix up a caramel and love it but after a few hours I need to change to something else because it will loose TH or the TH gets to strong... I can then pick it up a little while later and it's fine.

I keep two 6ml juice bottles with me while dripping to change it up. I don't think I could get used to one juice all the time.

Funny with analogs we had our brand and stuck with it. Vaping is different for me at least.

im the same way i have a favorite for about 2hours..then i need to switch
im never satisfied for the whole day witha juice ill eventually find something i dislike about it then switch
but after a day i'll miss it hahaha
