E-Pipe mod Inquiry? Any help greatly appreciated.

Howdy all, I haven't posted here in awhile. I've been really curious about E-Pipes and have seen some great ones out there. But not so long ago I saw some YouTube videos talking about pipe heads that connect to eGo atomizers, primarily epipemods (website where they typically go for at least $125 or more, but GREAT craftsmanship nonetheless), and even though they're nice they're way out of my price-range.

I originally started on a 510 which worked decent, but was kind of small for my liking. Later on I switched to an eGo-T, and I know people claim they have tons of problems, but *knocks on wood*, I haven't had any problems to date whatsoever. They get a tad weak as the batteries age, but that's expected and quite normal. I also recently got an eGo-C conversion kit and I love it, coupled with an eGo upgrade battery (can flip it between regulated and unregulated modes), I'm in heaven. I'm now ready to get "modding" somewhat, and am hoping to find just a simple e-pipe head that holds a battery that I can attach an eGo atomizer to and have the "pipe-effect" going on.

If anybody knows of any such mods or e-pipe heads/battery that are reasonably affordable (hoping for $40 or less?) I'd be SO appreciative. Thanks in advance for any effort invested.

(I'll also post this in the eGo specific section, apologies if that might warrant as spam or double-posting, just hoping to get as much info as possible.) :2cool:

Thanks for the suggestions, will check them all out. You guys rock! :vapor: *cheers* :toast:

EDIT: After checking out the Diablo e-pipe mods... perhaps I will just hold out for a nice epipemod custom. Just not sure I can validate myself spending that much on a single e-pipe head/battery. Was kind of hoping there might be more of an in-between alternative. Surprised no other modder/e-cig groups have jumped more on the "custom modding" market yet. :?:

Oooh, thanks for the heads up Kena, I may definitely pick up one of these! Only question I have is it says it can work with any/all ego clearomizer; anybody know if clearomizer and atomizer are the same thing? Like would I be able to stick my Ego-C atomizer/cone on this and have it work? :)

EDIT: Whoops... actually, I may end up passing on this. Looks great, until they tack on $42 for shipping. That's a shame. :(

eh.. yeah.. I saw that price for shipping after I posted it... It's a China company. but for the clearomizer and atomizer...
A cartomizer is a device with the shape of a tube, is filled with an absorbent material and has one or two atomizers toward the bottom where the device screws onto the battery.
an Atomizer is basically the same thing without the absorbent material Your Ego-C is an atomizer with a mini-tank that fits onto it.
A Clearomizer is a device with a tank that holds liquid that is wicked into the atomizer with either a top or bottom wick
a Carto-tank is a tank that holds liquid that is wicked into a cartomizer through one or more holes or slots in the cartomizer.
In the case of an ego-style connection, it will take any ego-device or any 510 device at the connector. (this includes your c-tank set-up) keep doing google searches and I'm sure you will come up with something affordable.

Has anyone tried putting a kick in their Diablo e-Pipe yet? It is not a regulated device, so I thought this would be a good idea. However, OKC Vapes says it will not work because The kick wouldn't be grounded. Does this make any sense? Why can I stick it in a mechanical tube mod but not this mechanical mod?

I don't have a Diablo, however if I've read the description correctly they are made out of acrylic. In order for the kick to ground the little spring on the kick needs to make contact with a metal wall of the mod.
