Hi all...

Just wondering if anyone with an e-Power has any experience w/dripping on one of these? I just got one recently, and it doesn't seem to like the 306 1.8ohm w/built-in drip tip attys I got. :( I get a miniscule of vapor and very little flavor.

Any ideas so I can enjoy my vaping experience with this unit? :vapor:

TIA!

strange....though i wasn't a huge fan of the e-power when it was my main, the only problem i had with it and atties was not making connection sometimes, in those cases, the atty wouldn't even fire.
could be the atty?
And yeah, you can drip with an e-power...

you could look into high drain batteries-to maybe boost the power the e-"power" is providing-
don't know if you have an 18560/14650/14500
but high drains are pretty simple to find for all but one of those sizes..

I'm not sure what the power output is on those, but like the eGo, they use a power regulator. I can tell because my volt gauge doodad doesn't work with pulsing regulators. So I don't know if an IMR would make a difference on that particular device.

IMR 14650 HIGH DRAIN BATTERY

i havent tried high drains on my e-power, truth be told, i was speaking mostly out of my ... from something i read on these here forums-someone did some voltage studies somewhere and his findings were that a 14500 high drain vs the batts the kit came with were much more impressive.

wow, that thing is indeed a strange best. So I guess an IMR would indeed make a difference. Why the heck did they bother with the pulsing regulator I wonder. I have the 18650 version and only one battery, so I can't try it out with my IMR batts (I only have 14500s in IMR).

You will find that the 510 atty is a better vape than a 306 because of the way that things fit together. The 1.5ohm LR 510 is a good match for the e-power voltage.
Because the e-power cone is larger than an eGo no one makes a functional drip shield that works properly on them without a bunch of adapters.
However a simple o-ring placed properly will make the e-power cone function as a shield.

Place the o-ring just below the air slots in the connection, you can move it up & down just a bit to adjust the air flow if you want. The e-power cone will fit right over the o-ring.

OK, so I have the 18650; what size o-ring, and do any of the regular suppliers carry them? So I should get a 510 1.5ohm atty and an o-ring and a drip tip. What else do I need?

TIA - only been vaping a month, and just starting to learn the dripping methods! :)

The o-ring is a 40 cent #5 o-ring that I got at Ace Hardware. Any store that carries faucet washers will have them. I just leave the o-ring on my e-power all the time, it doesn't hurt a thing when I'm using a carto or whatever. The way it works is if juice leaks out it will collect on top of the o-ring. The next time you take a hit you will draw that juice back into the atty.

Now about atomizers, the bridge inside there is so that you can use a cartridge with it. You don't need the bridge in the way when you are dripping. You can find lots of youtube videos on how to remove it.

But do remember that there is a learning curve to dripping just like anything else.

What about getting a bridgeless atomizer?

Great info thank you again for your help! :D
