Just wondering if anyone has some experience with this kit E Power Cig | E-Power 14650 | E-Power Electronic Cigarette

I really like the ability to remove the 14650's and I don't want a "special" charger just for that model IE the Ego. I'm skeptical because of the button issue I've seen around the forums and the fact that I cant find this kit anyplace else. The carto's in this kit hold 4.5ml thats more than some tanks, and I would like to have the option for low res carts due to the fact I dont really know what my preference is yet on carto's because I've only tried 1 resistance. Just curious if these work with the low res carto's, and if they do, any other drawbacks/Suggestions?

I've got the e-power 14650 and I love it with 1.7 ohm cartomizers and the dual coils.

I clicked on the link and that kit is a very good price and in the description they mention that the button on the switch is BLUE. I have the Blue button switch and have no issues with LR cartos or atomizers. I believe all of the reported problems are with the white switches. To be on the safe side I would call the vendor to confirm.

Yes those cartos are the Epower version of the EMDCCs. They are specifically designed for the Epower. If the switch has a blue LED then they work with no problems. I would def call to confirm though. The white LeD switch has been giving people problems using below 2.0ohms. I absolutely love my Epower. I have the white switch and it actually is working with 1.7ohm cartos but I'm one of only a few that theyve been working with. I have both switches though so always keep a blue LEd switch close in case the white one stops working. All my original parts are still working flawlessly. There are a few other vendors that carry the Epower. I'd recommend to get it from CCV bc they have an awesome deal and give you $25 in free stuff + free shipping, but their kit comes with the white button right now. Hoosier also sells them as well as Gotvapes and a few others. I'd get the Blue LED just to be safe if you want to use lower ohm cartos.
The Epower is very cheap to maintain since everything is replaceable and batteries are cheap. I get a day to a day and a half on one battery. I'd also recommend getting some other cartos. You might not always want to use that big of a carto, plus the dual coils drain your battery alot faster.
Check out CCV (crystal clear vaping). The have the Boge cartos and the Ressurectors. I recommend trying the Ressurectors. They are awesome cartos and work great on the Epower. They are 1.7ohm and hold alittle over 2ml of juice so they last a pretty long time. I've used both cartos and while I like the Epower dual coils, I like the Ressurectors more. They produce just as much vapor and don't drain your batteries like the DCs. Also with the Ressurectors you could use them in a tank.
CCV has free shipping and you will get a free syringe with all carto purchases. That syringe is perfect for filling and will make filling the Ressurectors and Epower dual coils easy. They both hold a lot of juice so you need to ensure their filled properly. Also if you get a 15-pack of cartos you get a syringe and a free drip tip. A drip tip is good for testing juices. If your kit doesn't come with at least one atomizer, I'd pick one up. I don't recommend filling a carto with a juice you've never tried bc if you don't like it you waste the carto. Use an atty and drip tip and you can test a juice before you fill a carto. I think you'll really like the Epower

Goodluck!

I'd hold off on the E Power till they get the bugs fixed.

Here's what I'm eyeing, it costs a bit more than the E Power, but simple battery swaps give you more options:

VZ 6 Volt E-Cig Mod Kit - E Cig : Joye eGo & eGo-T | Boge Leo | Cartomizers | E-Liquid | Electronic Cigarettes | eGo Tank

It has the 510/ego head, you can run 1 battery for 3.7V... 2 batteries for 6V.

Funny you should say that! I want one too! Elite Vaporworks has one too and so does another vendor in the supplier forum- forget the name.

I would personally suggest the Torpedo from LiteCig. This was my first mod I purchased, and I loved every minute of it. It already comes with a charger and (2) UltraFire 3000mAh protected batteries, and I would get 1-2 days of constant vaping from it, it's only $50, their customer service is top notch, and you can even use it for 6v or 7.4v vaping with CR123's or 16340's purchased elsewhere/ It will come with the Torpedo, 2 batteries, 2 atomizers, 5 cartridges, battery charger, in a nice display case:

510-N Bauway 18650 Torpedo MOD

I've heard issues with the indulgence on the EastMall subforum (the actual manufacturers of this PV for all vendors) found here:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...e/251954-indulgence-v3-problems-versions.html

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/229075-v3-1-switch-issues-please-help.html

The Torpedo has a separate switch assembly you can purchase if it breaks for $10, but if anything were to happen LiteCig would likely cover it with their history of service.

If it does in fact have the blue LED switch as it says, it is a great little mod.
However if it has the white LED switch you had better keep it in a warm place or it won't even work with a 2ohm carto.
I would for sure make a phone call before I bought it.

I got an e-power when they first came out (GotVapes replacement parts kit for $23), and have used it enough to ware the plating off the switch housing.

I bought my kit... my 1st "real" PV, not counting a couple of ripoffs I had tried out... from Sweet-Vapes a couple months ago for $42, and I couldn't be more delighted. It does everything I need it to do, plus if a batt. dies I have some $4 spares, if the switch dies I have a $10 spare, etc... whereas with an eGo or such if one or the other dies you have to replace the whole unit. I should note though: mine has the blue switch, and I've been reading some nasty things about the "new, improved" version. The one I have has used every carto or atty I've put on it without a hitch. It came with 3 of the huge (presumably) 7ML DC, LR cartos and they're great if you've found a juice you don't mind vaping all day long. I use them, but like an assortment of different sizes for variety and a few attys for dripping. If you order from Sweet-Vapes I have two suggestions: once you start your order, hurry; their shopping cart will dump in ten or fifteen minutes, unless they've got that fixed. And second, if you like chocolate, by all means try their Fudge Brownie e-liquid. That stuff is so good it almost had me running to my kitchen to whip up some I could actually CHEW!

    Welcome aboard, & happy vaping!

I have one of the E-Power4 14650's. (blue switch). Got it back around Thanksgiving. It works great and no problems so far.
I think CCV, Hoosier Supply and Madvapes also carry them.

Right now most places are trying to get the newest ones in since there were problems reported with the white button switches. Most should have them in the next few weeks.

E power has nice batt life and steady voltage but from what I've heard the button isn't that durable. It's replaceable but in the long run its cheaper to get a 1000mamp ego battery.

...don't believe everything you read(just some of it)...my blue switched E-Power has been flawless over the last couple of months...bought a couple of replacement switches for 9.95(still stashed)...1000mah Ego go for upwards of 20bucks...at his point(for me) I see no cost benefit to the eGos...quite the opposite in fact since the 5dollar E-Power batts have twice the life cycle rating as the egOs..............

I have to agree with Madjack. On forums its obvious that people will speak up when they have a problem, and they should. But you also dont hear about all the postive experiences people have with a certain device.
One of my best friends bought an eGo about the same time I got my E-Power. Hes already on his 4th and 5th battery bc he fried the first one with a 1.5ohm DC and a second one with a 1.7ohm Ressurector. Then the 3rd battery switch acted up and stopped working so he had to again buy a whole nother eGo.
I am still using all my original parts to my E-Power. Ive also bought an extra switch for under $10, but still havent had to use it bc my original one is still working flawlessly. Ive even bought a white LED switch and it has worked flawlessly for almost 3 weeks using only the Ressurectors(I fully acknowledge Im lucky, as most people with a white switch have had a lot of trouble running anything under 2.0ohms) and believe me I keep a blue switch close in case the white switch stops working, but so far so good.(hope I didnt just jinx myself, ha)
Also I can buy 4-5 batteries for the cost of one eGo battery, and they last a lot longer before they need to be replaced. Im still using both original batteries and still get at least a full day on one battery. The only other battery ive bought was a 14650 Hi-Drain battery to use as well in rotation with the other 2.
Ive also bought another tube for $5.50 and now have a second E-Power for under $15.

So in the end, my buddy has spent over twice as much as I have on his "cheaper in the long run" eGo.

Im not saying that the eGo isnt a good PV, but just bc you hear a few people that had a problem with something, doesnt mean theres not hundreds more that have had no issues with the same unit.

Rob, when I and the family started vaping back in August, I bought us 4 Riva kits(8batts)...have only used LR cartos with them and 4 of the batts have died...that is near 50 bux wortha Rivas batts...I have 4 of the E-Power batts, 2 generics and two blue Trustfires and none of them have shown any sign of slacking off so far(after 2mos)...I'll stick by my E-Powers TYVM...............

Well Bugs, to my way of thinking that would depend upon just how long the "long run" is, and I don't know. I bought spare everything... 2 spare batteries for 4 bucks each, a spare switch for 9 or 10 bucks (tried it out, worked, and stashed it), and a spare charger. I rotate those 4 batts in the two chargers but haven't had a moment's trouble from any of it. Using attys and cartos from 1.5 to around 4 ohms, several different brands, mixing different juices from 80/20 to 50/50 PG/VG mix, no problems. Now I've never owned another decent PV so I can't really compare, but from what I've read I just don't see how an eGo can beat that. Then again, maybe 6 months or a year from now I'll have to re-think all of this, I dunno. Anyway, whatever works! :D
