I just placed an order for some liquid from e-smokeytreats and noiced that they charge $12 for shipping. Being that it is a small order with Priority Shipping, it should be more like $4. They go straight off dollar amount which is screwed up in my opinion.

Anyone else experience this and feel the same way? Guess I just need to find another place to purchase from.

i just got my 520 starter and extra bats and atomizers today from them.
note. coupon codes get you 10% off. also orders over 100.00 get free shipping.
they might consider the 12.00 shipping and "handling". its 5.00 - 6.00 to ship. then the time to pack it. the time to drive it to the post office etc.
they ship out of san jose CA area. im in the middle of tx and it got here in 3 days. i recommend them.
placed my order sunday night at 11:00pm
via the tracking number i saw that they made the label monday morning and it was at the post office the same day. super fast. got here 10 mins ago (wednesday aftenoon.)

you might get shipping cheaper but that service you cant beat. i can pay someone 5 bucks to ship it the same way but if they dont get the the post office as fast then its a week later you'd get it. some shop have a processing of multible days and wait to ship stuff out once a twice a week.

hope this makes you feel better. youll love the service.

The service and quality I think is #1. Shipping is free over $100. If you think about it the time to put together a small order and a large order is about the same. I think it is fair to charge for shipping, it includes handling, which takes time. It is always you choice to support a supplier or not. I find these guys a pretty good deal esp if you are in a bit of a hurry. Just my 2 cents.

Come on people. You can order from any number of companies in the U.S. and get USPS priority shipping for 4.95 and you'll get it in 2 days. I order my juice from Arizona and I get it to NH in two days every time. my personal opinion is they are either drop shipping from china or they are just inflating their shipping charges to increase profit margin. Look around, there are plenty of suppliers who will be more than happy to help you out.

Agreed. The vast majority of our suppliers charge $5-6 flat rate Priority. I get goodies from all around the country in the same time frame, 2-3 days.

No question that Phil is a good, reliable supplier. But he also is more expensive than some of our other excellent suppliers. When I started he offered an extended warranty, so I opted to pay his higher price on my first two kits. But the extended warranty is no more, and his shipping price is up. On a $40.01 order shipping adds 30%, and will take the same amount of time to get to me as an order from someone charging 12.5% for shipping.

ramblingrose... that is my point exactly. By no means do I expect not to pay for shipping, but 30% is rather high for my order. Being that I have done several e-commerce sites I know it is much easier to do a flat calculation off of cost but in an example like this, it is hard to justify. On the other hand, calculating individual shipping charges for each and every item based on size and weight is a total pain in the ....!!

I guess the bottom line is if they have what I want at a good price, they ship it quick and provide good service, then I would consider it. Otherwise I can just order a larger amount to get the free shipping or go elsewhere.

Also, by no means was I questioning their reputation as I have heard nothing but good things about them, thus why I ordered from them. I was merely seeing what everyone else though on the charges. Being new and this my first order, this could be par for the coarse as far as I know.

Thanks!! :)
