Hey,

I'm pretty new to e-cigs/pv's, but I've been doing some reading.

So, I bought a south beach smoke deluxe kit. I know they're bad and expensive, but I got a cheap kit for $25. 15 Carts, 2 batteries, usb charger, wall charger, car charger and a case so I just bought it. I went through all the carts and bought some juice at a brick and mortar store here in vegas ( guess which one, heh ).

Anyways, I popped off the cap and dripped some juice around the edges onto the filler. They work ok, but sometimes they get this harsh taste just after dripping some juice in or just after using it for a bit. I'm not sure why that is as I ripped apart one just because of it and examined it. I didn't see anything burnt that I could tell, so it left me a little confused.

If anyone has knows if i'm doing something wrong or they're just bad cartos I would appreciate the advice.

It sounds like that to me too, but I can't say from lack of experience.

For instance, It will taste fine and I'll look inside to see how wet the filler is because I read if it's too dry it will burn. If it looks a little dry I put in more drops to keep it most. Right after that it becomes very harsh and dry for quite a few hits even after letting it sit.

I'm thinking it might be the juice, I didn't have this happen with the prefilled juice. I've filled it completely with different cartridges I know work fine. The initial hits after letting the juice sit for a while are very harsh and dry, this also happens after not using it for a bit and picking it back up.

I'm not sure of the pg/vg content they don't say. But the liquid is 24 mg of nicotine, I'll get some juice today and see if a lower nicotine or different juice helps.
