Hi everyone - I recently purchased an E9 kit from NHaler.com. When it arrived, both batteries had an early cut-off of three seconds or less, and the batteries would not hold a charge for longer than one hour (usually much less). I contacted Drew with Nhaler and he told me to ship them back to him and he would exchange. Well, when I got the new kit, the batteries had the same problem; and, this time, the wall charger in the kit had an awful rattle and would not work after the first charge. I am a little disappointed that a vendor made me pay for shipping only to receive yet another broken product.

Now, I am aware that Leaford mentioned that the E9 batteries had problems, but he also said that the problems had been, for the most part, remedied.

I really want a good cartomizer ecig that looks like a real cigarette. In Leaford's 5 Newest Favorites video review, he mentioned that some of the E9 vendors had switched to Kanger(?). Does this mean that they are clones? Will they still work with E9 chargers and carts?

I believe that cartomizers are the way to go when it comes to vaping; and I truly believe that we will see a complete market shift towards cartomizers in the next year, as they pretty much ensure a consistent and maintenance-free vaping experience that mimics a real cigarette like no other product out there. I've tried everything else over the past 14 months -510, 901, 101, 103, classic pen style- and I can't stand how the atomizer craps out after sometimes only a couple of weeks. I also own a Vapor King, and I love it, but when I'm out at a bar, I like something that looks real (white with a red/orange LED). I would like to use the Vapor King to get flavor and throat hit and then use the E9 to get the real cigarette look and feel and the huge vapor clouds.

Could someone please answer a few questions for me before I order another E9 kit:
**Are Vapure's E9 kits good?
**Do they have red LEDs?
**Green Smoke seems expensive. Is it worth it?
**Why has the E9 not caught-on yet with ECF members? Am I missing something? Is there a catch; is it too good to be true? I don't even see many video reviews for E9's on ECF. The E9 (if it's working) seems to offer everything an esmoker wants, yes? Sure it's a little more costly, but you can refil the carts just as easy as any 510, right?

Also, Leaford mentioned that some flavors and some E9 cartomizers have only 50 puffs in the cart, while others have a full 200. Can someone tell me which flavors/cart suppliers have 200 puffs worth of vaping?
TIA and vape on people.

I agree with you that the cartomizers are a great unit, and I'm sorry you're having trouble with your batteries (and charger, too).

Talk to Drew again, because he's always been very fair in my dealings with him. He does try to make sure all his customers are satisifed, so contact him to discuss your issues.

I've been fortunate that my original supply of batteries for the KR808D-1 (from eastmall) have worked well from the beginning. I have, however, switched to the greencig cartomizers due to the burning issue with the other carts. Greencig carts are built completely differently, so the internal material does not burn. The greencig carts work on the KR808D-1 batteries (as long as they are 2-hole batteries and not 4-hole batteries), so I just ordered the greencig carts from Drew and put them on my existing batteries.

The cost of the greencig carts is intially more; however they can be refilled and tend to last for days, so the cost balances out well.

Having only used the KR808D-1 batteries I'm sorry I'm unable to answer any of your questions regarding differences between the units, and having only used the original carts I got from eastmall, and then switched to greencig so I can't give you any advice on which of the E9 carts are better. I'm sure others will supply helpful information.

I am with you JP, the cartomizers E9 ARE hugely satisfying compared to the other 3-piece models. THere will be a significant market shift toward 2-piece solutions only if the price of the cartomizers drops, or if one can refill them 3-4 times successfully. It is still a new concept and I have faith the design and the offers will improve this coming year.
I have experience with red dragon (just ok), bloog (inferior), and Vapure (september 09). Vapure is the best of the three by a mile. The 801 is in my view a product of the past, and the 501 (Innovapor, I will report about Nhaler soon...) is very good too, as long as you have juice, several batteries and a charger handy.
So far I believe Vapure's got someting going.

KR808D batteries + GreenCig cartomizers FTW!!! :D

I have greencig cartoz I have refilled at least 40 times now... still hit as good as the very first time without question. (cuz I bought a ten pack, and still have 5 of them I haven't used yet. So occasionally I fire up a new one just cuz the ones I'm using are getting a little chewed up from me mouth-mauling them. ;) )

I am totally sold on this setup. I have a feeling that the GreenCig cartoz are simply as good as any other standard atty. They simply have a built in tube (kinda like an 801) and the cartridge and filler is built in at first. Then you just have to pop the top, get rid of an o-ring, pop out the cartridge, and refill. Use it, refill it again. And again. And again. :D

Take care,
- Hap

--> Oh yeah and talk to Drew again. He will most definitely make it right. He is by far the best vendor I have worked with as far as nearly instant communication, is available for phone calls if needed, and always stands behind anything he sells.
