Named for folklore from Braxton County, West Virginia, circa 1956, (3 years before I was born). TWEEKS to my recipe found at the bottom of the post.

Braxton County Monster

Tpa. Blueberry Wild. 6%
Tpa. Blueberry Xtra. 4%
Tpa. Sweet Cream. 2%
Tpa. Vanilla Cupcake. 3%
Tpa. Hazelnut. 1%
Tpa. Bavarian Cream. 2%
Tpa. Marshmallow. 1%

I made this probably in 2016 as i started with TFA. (Tpa now, thanks for the name change, i was already confused enough at the time).

A sidenote to this is that I was learning diy from the pioneers, the ground breakers, and Flinstone family, of diy experts found on this forum. The date in my mind is Hazelnut (and cupcake). What can i do, or try, with Hazelnut. Another issue was my very muted taste buds from smoking. I started with tfa <-- (at the time there was more info on how to use Tfa than other brands on this forum). Looking at the recipe now I would lower and change some ingredients. Found in Tweeks below.

Growing up here in West Virginia you just know the Braxton County Monster is real. At any time, anywhere in the state, you might find him in the woods. .....and I did.

I was young, climbed a mountain and found a large rock to sit on and fell asleep. When I woke I looked around and there he was. (Gasp)! He said hello to me and told me he wouldn't hurt me but that he was watching over me while I slept. He told me he didn't want any mean or curious varmits a bothering me while I slept. We became fast friends.

Braxton County is about 100 miles or so from me now, but I still see the Braxton County Monster from time to time here in Saint Albans, West Virginia. Recently my morning routine was to take a 1 to 2 mile walk in the dark before the sun even thought about coming up. He often came to visit me before this small town woke up while i was outside. We're still friends, and if you ask me I'll tell you he is real, and very recently here.

TWEEKS. I call this a workable recipe, or a ballpark recipe. It is a full flavor recipe (20% was my high end percentage flavor level back then). I hadn't moved to discover other manufacturers (Capellas, Flavor Art, Flavor West, Lor Anns, etc) of flavoring at this point in my journey. What I do remember from this recipe at the time was i liked it, and would come back to it later to tweek to my grading standard. I never did, and my diy journey led me on a different path. (mostly new flavors to try, but other manufacturers as well). So now I'm posting ANOTHER imperfect recipe. I liked it so I don't care.

Vg/pg ratio would be first. Lower the flavor, raise the vg% for the cloud chasers.

Tweek 1. The Blueberry. Today i would try to add 1% FA Bilberry and cut down some on the two Tpa Blueberries. I really like the flavor combination of those working together.

Tweek 2. Sweet Cream and BVC. Something vanilla creamy would possibly heighten the cupcake.

Tweek 3. The cupcake. How about cookie? Cake?

Tweek 4. Marshmallow. I doubt I'd change this one for a couple reasons. One is i like the sweetness it brings (1% marshmallow about equal to 1/2% or less sweetner was my theory/experience). Its like my FROOT recipe, don't touch it! (Except any diy could possibly cream, cake, or vanilla, etc, my recipe.) :) in my opinion, marshmallow shares it's "mouthfeel" with the blueberry flavor.

Tweek 5. Make a new batch, ask myself who would vape this strange flavor and move on.

Thats all I have to say about that.
