Yep we lost power Sunday night, cable and internet was gone Sunday morning. Other than that we personally had no property damage but there are trees and limbs down all over town. One of our neighbors ran a line to us from his generator so that we could keep the fridge going and our power was restored this afternoon.

I'm happy to hear most everyone else is ok. Loft is just north of me, wonder how he is doing.

Damnit, I missed all the fun of Mike getting in trouble in the modders forum LMAO!!

Thank you my friends!

5C that's funny! I don't think our winds got much above 40mph except for some gusts that might have been around 50. My MIL and I kept pretty busy Sunday slopping the basement water down the sewer drain every 30 minutes, but by Monday it was drained away.

Glad everyone made it through ok. We only got up to about 40mph winds here. and a lot of rain. It was funny though, I was very happy that I did not lose power or internet. However, people a block or two away from we on 3 sides lost power for a couple of days. I guess I am just special, lol!

Well glad you guys didn't get the bad winds. 40-50 mph winds are a pain, but certainly not horrible. We get those winds here all year long!

Sopping up the water in the basement does not sound like fun! Sorry that is the way your weekend was spent. The last time I had to sopp up water in the basement is when the sump pump went. No Fun!!!
