My Stones are pretty new so they don't need to be cleaned. I would, however, like to switch flavors on a couple. I was thinking maybe giving them a rinse with vodka? I've never cleaned any equipment before so I really don't want to ruin them. What do you suggest? If vodka is OK, how long should I leave it to dry?

Like Badkolo said, just good old hot water under the faucet will do the job, I take my top & Bottom caps off to get to the CE2 better and wash the caps then the CE2 type carto, run those wicks under very hot water and pad dry with paper towel. This does it and put back together and fill. No vodka or PGA really needed, sometimes I will take the hair dryer to my wicks for a quicker dry if I'm gonna use right away. I also do a quick dry burn puling my PV on off on off until my wick glows orange before I put my tank back together, just stop once your wires glow orange so you dont blow out the coil.

also dont blow( you can blow vapor away but dont blow hard and directly on the coil) on the coil as you do any dry burning, you create more heat by doing this and can pop the coil faster.

uh... I think you have been blowing on too many fires... ;) Blowing on the coil will not increase the heat at the coil... ;)

I don't know if it was the flavors I used, but I didn't even need to clean it out. Once I was out on the first flavor, but it was still in the wicks, I just refilled it and after a few drags it suddenly switched flavors :) But, I didn't use any really strong flavors like cinnabomb or blueberry waffle so that may have been a factor.

It causes thermal brittality...

um...

Quick heat/cold cycles cause metals to become brittle very quickly. When you blow on the coil parts of it cool quickly then instantly heat back up. It also causes uneven heat across the coil, the cooler parts will have a higher resistance so the warmer parts get really HOT really fast.

Yeah, POP!
