Still learning - so what is the best way to clean your tank/coils when switching to a new flavor? It always seems that if I rinse my tank out, I guess some water stays in it and it kind of gurgles when I first use it again? That's even after letting it dry on paper towels. And I've been soaking the coils in Vodka. Still, some flavors seem to stick around.

Probably not since I have no idea what you're talking about!!! LOL - I assume I can figure it out. You're talking about the coils? I just put the entire piece in vodka - haven't removed anything. Oops.Use WARM water, and soap, and get one of those small brushed they have for cleaning baby bottles, the really small ones. Wash the parts inside and out, let them dry completely. If you want to speed up the process, use q-tips to get the nooks and crannies.
Reassemble, and prime the head with the juice you intend to use - a couple of drops on either side on the wick should do it. Finish assembly, fill tank. You should get a lot less gurgling. Or, just let it sit for a while before you use it. I've found gurgling is usually from an unprimed wick, or a wick that's clogged on one side.
As for lingering flavor, the mints tend to be clingy, so you have to really look for places it can creep into - threads, under the silicon gasket on the head, inside the head, in the drip tip - a really good thorough cleaning and a new head should get rid of it, along with a coil burn if you don't replace the head.

Also check out dry burning those coils on YouTube... It will extend the life of them.
@RedNBlack - I am playing - no Vape Vet for sure. But I'm loving looking all of this up. I've got the supplies to rebuild - still just trying it all out.

You can transition to other flavors if you know you like both, but if not...you can get a nasty surprise. I DIY so am always cleaning something, usually a drip atty, and have always found just running all the bits under "as hot as it gets" tap water to work great.
