you don't need a calculator the math is pretty simple.
10% by volume for total flavoring by volume is about middle of the road and a good place to start with most flavors. so if its a 10 mL batch use 1 mL of flavoring total..

nicotine is a bit more complex. so lets say we are making a 10 mL batch of 12 MG per mL fluild. and the base nicotine is 72 MG per mL.

so 1.7 Ml of base multiplied by 72 MG = 122.4 total milligrams of nicotine now divide 122.4 by the number of total mL in the batch in this case its a 10 mL batch you end up with 12.24 MG per mL.
be extremely careful with all e-liquid especially your base nicotine.

i always use rubber gloves when dealing high strength (over 24 MG per mL) liquid

base nicotine MG per mL (72) multiplied by total number of mL used (1.7) divided by total number of mL in the batch (10) = final MG pre mL concentration (12.24)

This is a simple one for android.

Here's how to figure it manually:

SOURCE
Nicotine Base - 100mg/mL in PG
Flavor in PG

TARGET
10mL of 20mg/mL 70%PG 5%flavor

BASE:
(10mL total juice) * (20mg/mL target) = 200mg total nicotine in the mix
(200mg total) / (100mg/mL base) = 2mL base

FLAVOR:
5% of 10mL = 0.05 * 10mL = 0.5mL flavor

PG:
70% of 10mL = 0.7 * 10mL = 7mL total
(7mL total) - (2mL base) - (0.5mL flavor) = 4.5mL PG

VG:

30% of 10mL = 0.3 * 10mL = 3mL VG

So according to DKP I'm using to much flavor??

half a mL... or .5 mL.... that would be .5%. its not exact as you will soon discover. some flavors are used at around or 2%. other are used at around %20 just depends on taste. 10% total flavoring is a good starting point.
