Hello agian everybody!

Since I got my Joye 510's -- and haven't smoked a regular cig in weeks because of it -- some friends of mine have become interested in them.

The problem is they see me constantly fiddling with the thing. I for one do not mind the goofing around with it -- dripping into the atty or cart, cleaning it, etc -- but that is my nature, I like messing with technology, especially new technology.

The friends I have that are interested are also NOT interested in goofing with technology. They basically want something that works and is similar to a real cigarette.

After some research, I found a model with a 'cartimizer' that is supposed to be disposable, and also is only a two piece unit... a battery and a nicotine / atomizer cartridge.

Are any of these units close to really smoking? Are they a joke? I have no idea and since I like my 510 I am not about to go ahead and spend money on testing one.... I would appreciate sugestions on what to try and websites to order them from.

Thanks in advance for any opinions and suggestions!

The cartomizers are extremely convenient! They last longer than a regular cart and the refilling is easy. The kr808d-1 is, I think, the best type of 2 piece. There are several venders that sell them...its also known as the Nebula, Vapor King, and also the kr808d-1!
There are more, but can't remember them right now! NHaler, V4L, Vaporine, Vapor Kings,
Cigtechs, Cigeasy all carry them. Many are starting to use adapters so they can use the cartomizers with their mods! :)

The KR808D-1 is the popular 2 piece Cartmozer model You can find everything you ever wanted to know (and probably more) here: KR808D-1

Personally, I have not found it to be any easier. It doesn't take long before you forget about the cartomzier being a 1-time disposable item. I spend as much time refilling the cartomizer as I do any other cart.

But that's me.

I have a Vapor King from Vapor4Life.com (a KR808D-1) and am delighted with it. Easy to use, good battery life, and the cartomizers are easy to refill if you want. Refilling is the way to go to make it truly cost-effective, but for ease-of-use, I think it would be hard to beat a 2-piece.

I had to laugh because I'm much the same way . . . I refill the cartomizers, which does create a bit more time and effort. However, I can vape on a full cartomizer much longer than I can on a full cartridge, which is nice when, for example, I'm driving.

Also, I've been vaping long enough that I don't really mind fussing with liquids, dripping, topping off, whatever . . . but there's a whole group of folks out there who want this to be super, super easy, and if it's not easy, chances are they're not going to be successful. I'm so used to all of this that I sometimes forget that not everyone is inclined to fiddle with this stuff.
