won a cloupor with entry points.if'n I wore flannel shirts and christian dior fahrenheit I'd win,wait,I do wear thoseI don't. I don't do Facebook or any of those other things, so I only have the points that I got for entering myself. 10? I can't remember. Anyway, not enough to win one on the main contest, but that's OK, there will be other contests!

Well, silly me, I've been laboring under the assumption that the "main contest" winners were chosen based on the number of points you had. The Disrupter contest was that way, and it was the first one I competed in, so I guess I just assumed they were ALL that way. If it's random, then heck YEAH, I still have a chance.
But (uh-oh, here I go, THINKING again) if it's just random, then why is everyone so eager to share and get extra points? You'd think the more people they shared with, the worse their chance of being randomly drawn would be. OK, it still makes no sense to me, but that's OK, because there are a LOT of things I don't understand. Ask me about cows, I can tell you everything. Contests for vape gear? Yeah, not so much.
Each point is an entry so the more points, the more chances to win. true,knottyfive won with 5 posts on the last draw so did a few others..it's random and weighted depending on the game I think.which is weird how they do this.I was in the top 10 once,#6 and lost,and 8 of them won,so not sure how they pull the rabbit outta the hat.

Yep, I've won my fair share, and if the minimal posting gets picked I will PIF to someone in need.

It's OK, I have so many other things on my mind, this is far from being important to me, it was just a curiosity, so you can stop banging your head against the wall now and relax! LOL! There are some things in this world that other people seem to understand perfectly that make no logical sense to me, and those things I try not to worry about too much. I entered some contests, and once I won, and the rest of the time I didn't, but I did win an Evic mini, and I love it, so it's all good! By the way, "weighted random" is an oxymoron. If something is weighted, it's not random, and if it's random, it's not weighted. See, THIS is where I get hung up. But IT'S OK! Nobody worry! It's not that important!
