Spankopita can be pretty easy. Sometimes I use puff pastry as it is more user friendly than Filo pastry sheets.
Oh I love the filo though. I did a pumpkin pie kinda thing that Michael Simon did with the filo dough they were so messy and so good.

I don't need to order gallons anymore since I started using more FA and FLV...takes so very little of them to get the same flavor :D
Oh well I can still pick on you can't I. I'm gonna have to try some of the FLV one of these days. But I've got most of the recipes I do set up with Cap and TFA I do use a little FA but only two or three so far. I just don't know how the FLV compares flavor wise more than strength. I will have to try some one of these days

I love it too but if I want to do something quick and simple puff pastry is what I pick... also I usually have it on hand;)
My pies are done and have cooled about 15 minutes so should be ready for me to cut a slice:drool:

Flavor wise they are good. A little iffy on the Raspberry and Peach, but I've liked all the others I got so far. I've pretty much switched anything peach I use to Jungle Flavors Honey Peach. I loves it a lot more than the Juicy Peach and it takes way less as it's as strong as FA and FLV.

If you want to try something really good for a snack appetizer or heck make enough and I'll have them as a main course. Get a dozen good sized Italian brown mushrooms and pop out the stem use a soup spoon and scoop out a little of the center, sauté/steam them in a little bacon fat and add some white wine cover the skillet and cook for a few minutes. Remove from pan drain on a rack or paper towel crown side up till room temperature. In the mean time hard boil 6 eggs cool peel and carefully cut in half remove and gently save the yolks. You can much the whites while you finish the dish. Cut 6strips of bacon into halves and cook till almost starting to crisp as you remove them from the pan pat dry. Place one of the pieces of yould into the mushroom cap. gently wrap the bacon around the mushroom and yolk. secure with a toothpick. mix some packaged onion ring batter a little thicker than normal. heat fryer to 375. gently dip the mushroom into the batter and set in the oil very gently so you don't disturb the bacon or yolk. cook till golden brown and delicious drain season and guard carefully as you eat so nobody else gets any. These darn thing rate right up there with crack for addictiveness. Thought you might like these @gofishtx they are great with tobacco sprinkled on them too.
Sounds good but I think I will forego sprinkling on the tobacco, but maybe a little hot sauce instead:p

Good morning peeps. I am having my coffee and morning vape. I am also contemplating improvements to my desk. I have a Drop lid secretary with a drawer and double cabinet underneath, My laptop, when closed, fits under the cubbie in the desk, but open, it has to sit partway on the drop lid and makes it difficult for me to access the drawer or cabinet.
The whole cubbyhole piece is removable. it would be so nice if the middle section was gone so my laptop could sit back in it's own cubby. Then I would have more room for mixing and coil building and could easily raise the lid for access underneath. Since I am off this weekend it looks like a weekend project:w00t:

I finally made a decent build for my new Tugboat .25 ohms resistance at 50 watts gives outstanding flavor and clouds. When I could see through the fog, I noticed that the cubby hole insert inside my desk is removable and is finished, so I can set it on top of my desk and still use it. It doesn't seem to support the desk in any way on the inside, so I may end up with having my storage and a lot more desk top. I have to work this afternoon so I will work on it this weekend while I build some new picture frames:)

oops I meant .25 ohms:oops:

Picked up the Kanthal, 26g. to start. Unhooked the lead to get enough wire for wrapping and................................................TWANG!!!!.......The whole spool went flying and unraveling off the hub.
1 Hour and a lot of un-knotting, I put everything away:(

Oh crap that's gotta suck. Hope he's gonna be OK. Wha kind of spider was it? If you know. Did he have to stay in hospital?

It was a redback a big un (female protecting eggs) but once they finally gave him antivenin 1 1/2 days later he started to come good. He is still recovering but it's much better than a week ago. It takes as long to recover from the antivenin as it does for the normal bite.
