ecf view on clones?

As I am quite new I have no clue whats the general ecf position on clones is? Tips for good clones welcome or is this not very popular here? This leads to an instant flamewar in other forums, so I thought I ask some veterans before how this is handled here.

not trying to find anything but I buy lots of stuff at fasttech. Mostly authentic stuff but also clones (RDAs) and found some great stuff recently that I wanted to share.

ECF has no official stance on clones as far as I know. However members here have many differing viewpoints on most everything. Just discuss wicking materials for instance....

Many on here do buy and use clones.

Fakes aren't allowed in the classified section from what I hear. I think most new vapers don't even know their new atty is a ripoff. I see post after post of those with counterfeit Kayfuns where the poster seems to be unaware the only legitimate Kayfun is made in Germany by Svoemesto, not China by a random company...

I can not comment on how ECF feels about clones but my thought is if China company is cloning a China company why would I care? I have much bigger things in my own life to worry about. I do not fill my little pea brain with stuff that does not concern me. CHEERS!

Opinion varies among the members. AFAIK, there is no official ECF position on the subject. Feel free to post and discuss clones in any manner you like. Doubtless there will be the occasional poster who takes it unkindly, but most will either join in your discussion or merely ignore it. This board is mercifully free of most of that foolishness, an tiny spot of sanity on the internet. And welcome to the board.

It won't start a flame war here as I think the majority don't feel all that passionate about the subject. I use cloned RDA's all the time and outside of one or two duds they have worked well for me. I honestly can't see the justification for paying $100 for virtually the exact same device I can get for $10.00, I will buy originals if they are affordable (mutation X for example) but I'm pretty confident china can make a round hunk of metal just as well as anyone else.

Chinese Made... In the Same Buildings and the on the Same Lines the Authentics are manufactured; so are the Clones. The Chinese can copy to a "T' the most advanced Tech in the World. They can also make the cheapest/junkiest variations as well. It's all in how it's Spec'd by their contracted Vendor Client and how much Profit that Client wishes to make. As said previously by others, C'est La Vie...
Actually had some Infinite Cloned Mods and RDAs that were superior to their Authentic Counterparts (IMO).
However, there are situations where I insist on and gladly will pay $120 as opposed to the $20-$30 "just as good".
