Echo battery issues

Hi all. Two things:

1. One of my Echo batteries (both are 1300mah) is giving me problems by not powering my carto's. the LED comes on, it charges, but I can't get a draw from the carto (any carto). Any ideas on how I can resolve this?

2. Battery 2 doesn't seem to want to light up when I'm charging it. I used it off and on yesterday, just put it on the charger - no light. The charger is now telling me it is done (red light turned green). Does the LED go off when it's close to being done? Am I just crazy (about this issue, not in general )?

can u get a voltmeter to measure both batteries?

I have been having the same problems with my batteries as well. I will never buy an echo again. Are your batteries automatic as well?

i'm sorrie, i tried myself to get a volt readup, cant, and suddenly remember its a auto battery, circuit complete when air is drawn ... , however, my echo auto battery isnt giving me a problem ... yet :X

Pull both center poles on the batteries and check if the problem is solved.
There is a small round piece of metal where you screw your atty/carto...Use a toothpick to raise it a bit and give some feedback.

Yep, the battery will light up even if the carto and the batt are not making contact. I had the same problem yesterday but did not bother to try and fix yet - used another batt.
