I just received an echo battery I ordered from HC. It says it can be charged with an ego charger. When I plugged it in, lights started flashing and it fried the wall portion of my charger. :(I am hoping the other part still works- testing that now

anyhow, I am afraid to try to charge it on my other charger because if it fries it, I will be left with no charger:blink:

I don't even see an echo charger on your site so I don't know what I am supposed to use

Now I am left with an unchargeable battery and a fried charger:glare:

on a more positive note, before the battery went dead, I did enjoy using it with the echo cartomizer. which says alot because I don't like cartos very much. although, whoever put that lousy whistle tip on the ends should be flogged with a wet noodle! they suck!:p:p

I also tried the dual coil xl cartos. I did not like that one. It was very airy like there was a leak or it was not tight on the battery. I don't want to waste more juice checking the others. so, bad purchase on my part

I bought the battery button protectors for the ego. I must be dumb on these, because I can press on them and it activates the button, so I don't see them doing any good:blush:

I got some ego-t batts. almost thought they were DOA, but then I remembered the 5 button click and they seem to work. might want to include that instruction for newbs like me:facepalm:

Thank you for your post and review here.

i am sorry for the problem with charging echo batteries. may i know which charger you used? whether you used the joye ego usb charger?

i am sorry that i do not understand the meaning of "fried the wall portion of my charger". could you explain it?

i do suggest you to charge echo with 420mah ego universal usb chargers with no cord here. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...cho-battery-problem-other-order-comments.html

as for echo cartomizers, i am glad that you like them. whether you do not like the whistle tip on echo cartomizers?

newsunshine, my ego charger is 2 parts, the part that plugs into the battery, with a USB at the other end, and then the part that plugs into the wall and the USB plugs into that. The part that plugs into the wall is the part that was ruined.

i am sorry for the problem with USB port. how long did you use before it was ruined?
