hey, i've bought a green-leaf ecig and a couple different brands of eliquid and I have a few questions..
The ecig has three colors the light indicator can show, white red and blue.
The charger shows red/green.

I couldn't find anywhere online that indicated what the three colors each mean, I emailed the company and they said that blue meant it was fully charged but it's only ever turned blue a couple times and that was after I had been using it for a while, I've never seen it turn fully red, and it's alway's white, after too long a hit it will blink a couple times.

Just wondering if anyone knew for sure, from what I can understand is I've never let it fully charge or fully die.

Also, question about e-liquid. The first few times i used it the liquid never turned brown. now after almost the first few hits the entire reservoir turns brown. Is that due to me switching to a not as good brand of eliquid or is because the cartridge is burnt. not sure. I used to use a brand without water in it and it seemed to be a higher quality. Is the liquids without water better?

Either way if it's not suppose to turn brown then I need to remedy that, just not sure exactly how to go about it. Thank's.

the blinking you see after a long hit is the battery automatically shutting down. Lots of batteries have built in mechanisms to prevent overusage. i think the cutoff ranges from 8-12 seconds

if your charger is anything like mine it will show alternating red red red green red red red green until its fully charged (at which point it will remain on green)

id imagine the red white and blue are indicators of how much battery you have remaining. they could also indicate the operating voltage. this varies from battery to battery. ive never seen the one you're talking about

your liquid turning darker is normal BUT if your cartridge is turning brown then it's on it's last legs and should be replaced. you'll want to get some other opinions on this though. i've only used a kit similar to yours a couple times and never for very long

On my X9 Mini setup, a red light means very low voltage (<3.4v, needs a recharge), blue is medium ( <3.75v ) and white is fully charged ( >3.75v ). When over 4.135v, it stops charging. If it gets down to red, it hardly produces any vapor. My charger seems to be green all the time, but then I'm partially color-blind, so...

No idea about the liquid questions.

Thank's guys...

Hose, if i where to upgrade to a more decent kit what would you recommend? Considering I've become accustomed to vaping and would want to upgrade from a 19 dollar set-up. lol

Hesitantly.. lol, thank's. Can't believe the guy I emailed about it got it wrong. lol, wasn't sure but what you said make's a lot more sense.

i'll defer to somebody with more expertise on the current market to answer this question. i'm more of the mindset of using it til it stops working for me before i move onto something else.

Thank's, cuz I'm broke I'm currently looking into cleaning the clearomizer of the one I have currently, did not know it was possible to take apart..

cleaning will only help so much. i cant tell exactly what kind of clearomizer you have but the pictures on the site look like some sort of CE4 or CE5. for the sake of being practical, both types are relatively disposable. Although, the CE5 is less disposable than the CE4 because it has replaceable parts. However, you might have a hard time finding the parts you need to replace without having to order them online

if you have $5 to spare you can probably find a replacement of your clearomizer at a vape shop (if you have one nearby). they sell them at smoke shops too but they might charge you something ridiculous. The vape shop on the other hand will know what you're talking about and (in an effort to stay competitive with online vendors) wont break your bank.

all this being said, if your current clearomizer produces vapor and doesnt taste ....... awful, then you dont need to replace it...not yet anyway :) i doubt your gear is terribly demanding on the hardware you're using. it should last you a good while at least

Right on, just spend a half hour or so on youtube trying to figure out if the type of clearomizer I have can be disassembled, which without breaking it I found that it's not. lol. If after cleaning it with just water and it still burns brown I'll just fetch a new one.

you can disassemble both the disassemble-able kind and also the not-so-disassemble-able kind

heres a video for the not easily disassembled version Rebuilding standard CE4 Clearomizer - YouTube

i really wouldnt worry about the brown as long as it's not affecting the taste. just close your eyes and blow...errr suck...whatever hehe :vapor:
