Anyone seriously worried about NSA tracking wouldn't use anything online at all, wouldn't go into any area with surveillance (I.e. any metropolitan area) amd would in general be worried about way more than their smoking device being located. People who sit stuff down on a table, then have to spend a few minutes looking for it could benefit though.
