I used to be a double dipper. Mainly 1/4-1/2 can moist snuff (chew), plus 10-12 cigarettes a day.

Finally ran out of all tobacco about 5 days ago and picked up my pv full time, and...it seems to be working!

Little anxiety at times, but it's nothing that doesn't pass after a few minutes with my 510. I do tend to nibble at the cart for periods of time, but hey...I've got plenty of replacements.

So, for all of you soon to be non chewers out there, it can be done. :D

i feel like it wouldnt work as well tho because of the oral fixation u get fulfilled from analogs

I had a can of herbal snuff for that same reason, but only had a couple of dips before I couldn't stand the taste anymore. Would do in a pinch though...no pun intended.

Swedish snus works well too...a lot closer to the real thing & without almost all of the carcinogens found in US fire cured snuff.

This is actually the reason I started looking into ecigs. I already have the blucigs... don't waste your money. I was intrigued by them, but they are inconsistent at best. I tried a Janty eGo today in the local mall, and liked it so much that I ordered a kit this evening.

Cool. The eGo is gonna be my next pv, these 510 batteries just aren't cutting it. I was led to believe you can use the 510 atty's with it too.

eugh.. half a can?? what did you dip (chew)? I used to dip skoal mint long cut, then went to the pouches, then they started tasting nasty to me, so I went to the camel snus mint. It got to a point that I would buy a can, take one or two pouches out, and the rest of the can would dry out before I wanted another one. Finally figured out I was wasting way too much money... All of this without e-cigs or other habits. But after that, I picked up a pipe and that has been my love since then. Too bad my fiancee hates the idea, so I ended up selling all my pipes. That's what I miss the most. I can't wait until I can get me a GOOD e-pipe.. (patiently waiting for Janty)

Copenhagen long cut was my dip of choice, but I chewed lots of different types off and on...Redman [type] chewing tobacco, plug cut, pouches, snus[swedish] etc. Even a little nasal snuff once in a while.

I too have a pipe collection, but found that I couldn't prevent myself from inhaling...way too much. Pipe tobacco casing is just NOT good on your lungs period, and you feel it's effects rather quickly. So I'm with ya on the Janty pipe thing.

Then I'll just have to find me some descent Dunhill eJuice.

Got my eGo in last night. It is definitely a quality product. I used it today at work 12+ hrs pretty regular vaping and never had to charge or switch batteries. This is still off of the charge it had when it arrived.

I am realizing that I need a lower nicotine level than 24mg. I found myself jacking my jaw today, although very little sleep likely had a part in that as well.

Anyhow, I highly recommend the eGo.

I used General Snus for a long time but honestly the e-cig really helped me quit that too. I just find that I puff almost constantly because I'm always used to having 2 pouches in. Lol.

Congrats houseofreggae, your lip with thank you lol I dipped at times but just for the flavors and when I couldn't smoke.

If anyone has dipped Copenhagen wintergreen or Skoal wintergreen edge I would like a juice that has that same flavor.

The copenhagen wintergreen would be a killer flavor, wouldn't it? I second this request. Anyone know of anything like it?

OK you crazy Americans :)
WHAT IS SNUS??????????????????????????????????????????
and what's this chewing tobacco thingy?? Seriously???? Smoking it was bad enough ;)

Snus is a form of tobacco originating in Sweden. It can come as loose tobacco or in pouches (sorta like tea bags). Whereas chewing tobacco and dip you put on the bottom gums, snus goes in your upper lips and gums. That way you don't have to spit. From all the tests on snus, it appears that it is MUCH safer than any other tobacco product in the world (due to the way they cure it (steam cured)). I don't even use that anymore though bc of the e-cig.

Ohhh sounds interesting!! I've never heard of it. Is that the stuff they spit out in the old western movies in the bars??

That would be the traditional chewing tobacco that goes on your bottom gums. Like Sanat said, snus is a little different. Read Sanat's response again.
