Hello! I've just received my very first E-cig. After a bit of research I finally ended up choosing Innovapor's 510 model.
It seems very sturdy and the vapor production / throat hit is great.

But all the fluid i was sent, (rich, medium, normal) All taste like Rich, medium , normal roasted marshmellows, lol. I was under the impression It was going to be tobacco flavor , but I guess I was mistaken.

Does the Ecopure normally taste like this? Do I have to order a "tobacco flavor' E-juice?

Also I don't notice much of a head hit, like I don't feel light headed like a normal cig, Is the 12mg of nicotine not enough? Or is it not the nicotine that makes your head light in cigs to start with?

Thanks for reading my wall of text, haha.

I've heard people say that the lightheadedness is due to carbon monoxide produced by cigarettes shutting off oxygen to your brain, or something like that. Or maybe I have that all wrong.

As far as whether or not your nicotine strength is enough or too much or whatever, I think it would help to know what you used to smoke. I mean, if you smoked five ultra lights each day that would be a bit different from smoking three packs of marlboro reds each day.

I tried Eco pure (from IV also) for about a week, the flavor really grows on ya, but today I got some 24 mg Ry4 in the mail and my eyes about popped out of my head, so I would have to say strength DOES make a difference. Got that buzz like your first smoke of the day with cigarettes did, personally gonna cut it down a little, but you might try something stronger.

Anyone else have any input on my other questions? Thanks :D

I like Rich which for me is a subtle RY type flavor. Regular has some tobacco and don't like it much, nor the menthol. Fresh is supposed to be unflavored but I can vape it but would rather blend it to tone down a PG flavor that may be to strong and/or for the major vapor it creates.

This is a little disappointing. I ordered some EcoPure because I heard the Rich and Menthol were great and not sweet at all, much like tobacco. Marshmallows sounds like candy.

Hopefully, anything I mix with the Fresh doesn't have a marshmallow taste.

I read there were some Ruyan tests that said we're only getting 1/10 of the nicotine per puff compared to cigarettes. Also, some people have taken at home nicotine tests to try to see if they can confirm this. Not sure if it's 100% certain, but worth looking into. Either way, I would start lower and move up with nicotine if you feel it's not enough.

Most people suggest starting with a slightly higher nicotine level for the reasons you noted.
Then it can always be cut to a lower level if needed.

Other people say that they needed higher nicotine level than they thought.
Only after they used a higher strength juice were they able to get off the analogs.

Personally, I smoked Camel lights and I started with 11mg liquid.
Then I bought some 0mg of the same flavor and brand to cut it to around 8mg.

Other people just cut it with PG or VG from the local store.
But they lose flavor that way.

Thank you guys so much for the replies. All very helpful.
And yes, the flavor does grow on you, I enjoy it but I still want a real cig taste every now and then.

As for how much I used to smoke, I was never a real heavy smoker, and maybe that's why I always got that little bit of a head rush. I smoked about a pack every 7-10 days of Marlboro 27's.

And from what I know, i was shipped 12mg fluid, but I don't feel anything, even after 4 or so mins. Maybe my order was botched and I got 0mg , haha.

From the research i've done on the forums I think I'm going to try some 'Wet your stick' Fluids. I'll let you know how that goes, lol.

Thank you again.

Or vice versa... :p

Starting at a lower/avg nicotine consumption and moving up if necessary seems like the safest route (imo). Of course, totally up to the user to decide.

On the bottom of the Eco bottle there should be a stamp or label of Flavor and nic level - like 'Rich' 'med' or 'Fresh' 'high'... then check the site for the nic level of high, med, low.... no, of course, is 0mg :)

Yeah, thanks.
The bottles all say 'med' which is 12mg . But I feel nothing... at all. Kinda weird, haha. I mean normally i'd be light headed off the first drag of a normal cig, but nothing after mins of vaping.

Well then save it, get some 24 or 36mg stuff and blend it in. Rich and Reg would go well with RY4 or any tobacco base - hilton, kent, flue cure, 555 and use fresh for the other flavors. That's basically what I'll do except I'll hold some Rich back for some straight vaping.

I can tell you that I have not gotten light headed at at since I started on saturday. I purposely got mostly low nic for that reason...I only smoked about 1/2 pack a day...but I can tell you that I lit my last analog just as the mail lady was delivering my package and I haven't touched one since...
It must be working because I haven't even wanted to light one up...My 501(s) do the trick.

The marshmallow taste seems a bit odd but nice in a way....Unforatunately all of them have that hint of flavor so I can never remember which atty I have them in.....

Heres to trying new juice! JC on the way and I might order some Vermont.

I'm vaping the 12mg Ecopure right now. I ordered the sample pack and got mostly rich and menthol which to me taste the same and nothing like marshmallows... just a nice smooth vape, not much throat hit but tons of vapor. Really doesn't taste like anything to me, I could flavor it up a bit but I also enjoy it as is. As far as not feeling the effects of the nicotine... I know it's in there or I'd be ripping peoples heads off  I never ever get a buzz... analogs gave ya a buzz due to the oxygen being cut off from your brain and the deadly chemicals you were smoking... not from the nicotine ;)
