I'm having some trouble finding the amp limit of my battery. I'm using the efest 18500 v1 1100mah flat top battery, and its red not purple. I have searched the web and this forum but all I can find is info on the purple or 18490 batts. Any one wanna clear this up for me?

The real sony VTC4's (http://www.rtdvapor.com/sony-us18650vtc4-2100mah-30amp/). (Max. Continuous Discharging Current: 30A) Are supposed to be 30 amps. Some batteries say 20-30 amps on the lable but are much lower when tested. I have 7 of the Sony VTC4's it's night and day compared to the batteries I used to use. The Sony VTC4's blow away my other batteries. As long as you don't purchase fakes, The Sony VTC4 is in my own opinion 1 of the top batteries for my mod (Silver Bullet). Although these are 18650, not 18500 or 18490.

I found this almost a year ago I think and printed it.....so much to learn at that time. LOL Man look at those trustfire #'s

Also one of my go to sites.....play around with that for awhile and look at the amp draw differences. Try to leave some wiggle room, try to not push past about 80% of battery max.....hope this helps also.
