Are the Efest IMR 18650 2100mAh 30amp Flat Top Purple series battery (Sony VTC4 rewrap) from RTD OK to use? Is this item from Efest trustworthy and safe to use in an unregulated with a sane build? Let's say no lower than .6 dual coil for example.

Would it be wiser to wait for a different brand, actual Sony's or Orbtronic SX30 to come back into stock?
Another question for you, can someone give me a trusted vendor for the Orbtronic SX30 (not even gonna ask about the Sony's)? And will Orbtronic.com ever have batteries back in stock?
TIA

You can trust RTD Vapor to carry genuine name brand batteries, including AW and Sony. (However, I've noticed that even RTD Vapor lists the purple Efest 2500 mah battery as having a 35 amp limit, which is the "pulse" limit and not the "continuous amp limit.)

You're asking about the purple Efest 2100 mah 30 amp battery, which is a re-wrapped Sony VTC4 battery. In all likelihood, the Orbtronics SX30 is the same re-wrapped Sony VTC4 30 amp battery. I pay no attention to "pulse" amp ratings and do all my ohms law calculations with the "continuous" discharge rating of the battery. You can trust this battery at 0.6 ohms (that's currently the build that I'm using).

You can contact Orbtronic via email to see when they expect to get more SX30 batteries in stock.
