Ok so let me start off by saying that i read a post here about this battery and im aware that efest might have rewrapped these. Ok then hmm my question is can i run a .5 dual coil in this battery? It says that its a 35a high drain battery but some people say its only 20a if its true that this is just an LG 18650HE2 will it still run a dual coil at .5 if not what its the lowest ohms i can use it with? Thanks in advance

There has been evidence that the purple Efest 35 amp 2600mAh battery is a re-wrapped LG18650HE2 battery. LG (the manufacturer of that battery cell) says it is only a 20 amp continuous discharge rate. Efest has been known to overstate their mAh and amp ratings in the past.

1.0 ohm = 4.2 amp draw
0.9 ohm = 4.6 amp draw
0.8 ohm = 5.2 amp draw
0.7 ohms = 6 amp draw
0.6 ohms = 7 amp draw
0.5 ohms = 8.4 amp draw
0.4 ohms = 10.5 amp draw
0.3 ohms = 14.0 amp draw
0.2 ohms = 21.0 amp draw
0.1 ohms = 42.0 amp draw

You could use the Efest/LG battery down to 0.3 ohms. However, know that if you routinely push a battery above 80% it will degrade the battery faster than what is considered "under normal use". Routine daily use at 0.3 ohms will age the battery so that it will no longer have the same specs as when it was new.

Both batteries should do fine at 0.5 ohms.
