Hi I'm a new member and have only been vaping for a week. Bought an ego 650 mah vv battery and its been charging for about 4 1/2 hours. Is this normal for a first charge?
What are you charging it on? A wall socket or your computer? At any rate, the most important thing to watch out for is a hot battery while on the charger. If it's getting hot, take it off! I'm not talking about warm BTW (as most if not all batteries get warm while charging), I'm talking hot.
Charging with my USB charger on my laptop. Broke the wall charger yesterday. Lol. It's not even warm. Just seems like an awfully long time to charge. My kgo 1100 mah battery charges in 4 hours. Very strange.
I'm no computer expert, but I would think it would take longer to charge on a laptop vs a wall socket, which is why I asked. As long as it's not getting hot, you should be fine.
If the passthrough does not have an inline battery, like this one, you will need to get an adapter like the second link shows, and plug it into a wall outlet. If you don't do this with these types of passthroughs, you run the risk of harming your computer.
