EGO Adapter

My ProVari arrived in the mail today. Lovin it so far. I went ahead and ordered the ego adatper with it but their adapter wont work with the new vision stardusts. I have another (much cheaper) ego adapter and it works fine. I wonder what gives? I even tried pulling the pin a bit in the stardust but it still wont work.

I've got 2 510/Ego adapters, both needed adjustment when I got them. I didn't get them from Provape but I'm guessing there the same.

You can't just pull the pin on these, they are threaded, if you just pull from the bottom it'll pull the top down also. Looking down in it from the top you should see a slot for a flat head screw. Using a screwdriver loosen that about a quarter turn and try it, if that doesn't work go another quarter turn until it makes connection from both ends.

You'll need to keep the bottom side of the connector from spinning while your adjusting, I held a paper clip barely lodged in the bottom hole, was enough to keep it from spinning while I adjusted from the top side.

I'll be darned!!! I can't believe I never tried this! I have 2 of these adapters also and always hated trying to get them to make a connection. I had no idea the center pin was 2 parts, lol! THANK YOU!
