I am thinking of adding an ego to my collection
MadVapes 510 Ego Mega Dual Coil Cartomizer Kit

this kit does not come with a wall charger will this one work?
AC to USB Charger Adapter

Can I use regular 510 attys? I know your not supposed to use LR but I do like the new 2.0 bridgeless for dripping. and 2.0 cartos and dual coil. just want to make sure all of these work.
what is the batt life like between charges?

any feed back good or bad would be great

That's a SmokTech eGo, not a Joye, just an FYI. The major difference is that the Joye has a hard plastic button, and the SmokTech's is a soft one. Not sure if there's any functional difference, I have a Joye eGo, myself.

Yes, that adapter should work, but I'm sure someone who has experience with those will chime in.

Attys...you -can- use anything you want on it. They're not recommended because the lower resistance is hard on the battery. Iirc, they can short them out.

I'm currently using the AltSmoke's Alpha, a 14500 mod, so, 600ish mAh. The eGo battery lasts about the same as my Alpha. Say, 6-8 hours depending on how heavily I'm using it and if I let the PCB kick in. The eGo is a bit small for me, I prefer the bigger, heavier batteries, but it's a solid piece of work.

Mine is a eGo-T, and the tank attys are built into the cone. I do use cartos on them now and again though. The cone is entirely for aesthetics, it covers the outer threading (which is only there for the cone) and adds a bit of a streamlined look. I don't mind the look of the threads on the outside though. :)

Also, I don't think that a cone will fit over the mega's, as they're pretty wide.

Cheers!

Ac to USB adapter isn't strong enough with only 300mah output. If it does work, it'd take forever to charge the batteries.

USB should be 500 mah output by definition and the standard eGo chargers require 5V 500 mah input and output 4.2 V 420 mah. I recommend springing for a better one.

Cones are not required to work. They are cosmetic, somewhat restrict airflow for a tighter vape, and do protect from leaking ejuice a bit with certain atomizers.

900 mah ego battery should handle 2.0 ohm atomizers and cartomizers no problem. I used 1.5s on my Ego-T 1000 batteries for 4 months without consequence. They drain faster and might not last as long, but since they are not terribly expensive and LR provides a hotter vape, I thought it was well worth it.

I have used one of mine for about 6 months now with every ohm carto from 1.5-3.4
No issues with it at all, one lasted about 3 months.

I get less time than my 14500 (900mAh) box mod with the STego. The cone will not fit over most wrapped (black) carto's though without shaving the cone a tiny bit shorter, thus increasing the diameter of the opening. It will tend to rip the wrap if you force it.

Will this ac adapter work?
