My 650 mAh eGo batt has been on the charger for about 4 hours. I hadn't had a chance to check it until now and was surprised that the charger is still red (indicating that it is still charging). However, every 10 seconds or so, the charger quickly flashes green. I took the batt off and hit the button and it lit up. Should I go ahead and take it off the charger? It's never taken more than a couple of hours to charge.

However, every 10 seconds or so, the charger quickly flashes green.

First of all, when MY chargers are charging, the red LED is solid red. Toward the end of the charging cycle, the green LED will occasionally flash indicating the cycle is near its completion. I'd leave da batt on charge a while longer.

But, that is a loooong time for charging an eGo batt...

This happened to me. The charger is checking the voltage of the batery when it blinks like that. But if it dont turn completly green it means that the charger probably is not charging the batt completely, becuase when I took the batt ou it would las like 15 minutes no more than an hour. I got a new charger and now it goes solid green when charged again so the problem was the charger. most likely you need to get a new charger, they are cheap about 5 or 6 dollar a pice in most of the supplyer pages. the battery will last you longuer than the charger. hope this was helpfull.

...of my 3 charge cables, one does exactly that...it takes 4+hrs to charge a Riva 750mah batt, I just assumed(dangerous, I know) it is not putting out the power it is supposed to so, takes longer to charge. I would leave it on the batt until it goes completely green...as others have stated, these things are pretty inexpensive so, getcha some spares......
