Ego batt problem

I have 2 of the standard ego batts I purchased as my first kit in Nov. 2010 I noticed in the last couple months that the threads seemed to be slipping a bit when I put on a atty or carto, and now they seem like they are stripped out??? Does anyone have a possible fix for this, the batts are still good and hold a great charge. Anyone else have this problem?

I have one that is this way. Sorry I can't help with the solution. Mine won't charge on my original charger but charges fine on my replacement charger.

I dont know if this will work but looks like 9/32 or 17/64 thread I myself would try the corresponding tap and by hand just try to re cut the threads idk if it would work but it might be worth a shot

you wouldn't want to be wrong about something like that. This link is to a stickie in the modders forums that specifies the correct tap sizes.

Maybe try some teflon tape around the cato and atty threads to snug them up. Might work might not but can't hurt to try.

Thanks all for the help, I am going to try the teflon this weekend and then I am going to Harbor freight and they have the die sets.
