ego batteries come fully charged?

Hi I finally got my eGo, and I am so exited. I am trying to charge right now. but...

when I put the battery in the charger the light turned green. there were no red flashes or anything like that. Is the battery charged, and am I good to go? I thought I read somewhere that you should charge them on the first charge regardless.

While it is possible that yours has a full charge, I'd vape for a couple hours and put it back on the charger to be sure. most dont come with a full charge.

Got mine yesterday, charged for about ten minutes (Maybe even less than that) each and then turned green. Have been vaping pretty steadily since 5:30 am on the first batt and it is still going... so it was obviously almost fully charged.

I got mine awhile ago but I recall that mine came like 90% charged. Once the light turns green you're good to go!

Some are charged already. The Ego will not charge if it gets a green light so it would be fruitless to try and charge an already charged battery but like sp said, Id charge it after a couple of hours use and see what happens.. good luck. I have always like the ego. great PV for little cost!

Seems many batteries come fully charged. I'm not a battery expert, but some say you when you first get it, you should leave it on the charger after the light turns green for a couple of hours. I've also heard, as sbphotog mentioned, that with a new battery you should vape on it a little, then charge back to full again. With 808s i've done both of these, and i've also used one out of the box and not put it on the charger until it was almost drained. I never really noticed any difference in the performance of those batteries.
