Two of my g/f's eGo batteries say they are charged on the charger, will light up when I press the button, but as soon as we put anything on them the button flashes ten times. I've taken the top off and all the connections seem to be good, nothing smells fried. I have tried just about everything to figure out what is wrong with them with no luck.

...there's a good chance that the juice delivery device center post isn't connecting.... common with vision products. You'll need to either screw up or pull out the center pin but do it carefully. If not a Joye, then it could be the battery's center post - same thing pry up carefully....

I would definitely be contacting the place you got them from for exchange.

The reason I asked about LR stuff is early JoyeTech eGo batteries did not like LR. At all. Running them with devices below 2.0 ohms voided the warranty. And could cause the protection to trip and create the symptoms you seeing. Supposedly JoyeTech branded batteries have had the protection circuit redesigned in the last year or so, so if a LR device is attached and the protection "doesn't approve" it will be more inclined to temporarily shut down the battery - without killing it altogether.

That's JoyeTech. All bets are off if these are clones. Regardless here's hoping you can get warranty replacement as your batteries are toast.
