I'm getting ideas of trying an eGo battery, but I have a stock of KR808d CE cartomizers that I don't want to waste. If I'm understanding it correctly, I can use these carts with the eGo battery, but I need to buy an adapter, correct? The eGo will also need a special charger and can't be charged with the KR808 charger. Is this correct or can the KR808 charger be used with the eGo if I just leave the adapter on it? Last question. Does a standard KR808 cart stick out far enough from the cone on the eGo to actually keep the cone on it? Thanks!

If you want to use KR8 parts on an eGo style unit why not consider the Riva 901-Liberty Flights. It's the same threading as the KR8 so there's no need for an adapter. If you buy the kit using the 20% off coupon code it'll come to right around $30 and you'll get 901 atty's and a charger. The KR8 cartos will stick out from the cone enough so you don't need an extension. But you don't have to use the cone if you don't want to.

jjcordone, you are correct in your assumptions. What you want/need is a 901/808-D1 adapter. Here's a link to a 'stealthy' one. I'd suggest that you opt for 510-threads, since the possibilities here are so much better. (LR)306 atomisers will fit the 510 directly, a.s.o.

You can use the 808-D1 charger on the eGo/Riva/etc with the adapter, but you will have a prolonged charging time. What you cannot do is to charge (small) batteries with a charger that is meant for a larger battery.

Cone will fit - but it not really necessary.... :vape:
