I assume this is a 1.5 battery with a regulator switch built in giving you low, med and high in conjunction with your existing 3.7 battery. It's a neat idea but 60 bucks for a 1.5 battery with a regulator circuit and switch?

Of course I assume that's how they are doing it.. seems to me one could be made Much cheaper If indeed that is how the product works.

If that's not how it magically turns your 3.7 v battery into a 4.8 v battery then I don't know how they are doing it. That said, someone could invent my idea with a 1.5 battery and have a product that does this same thing Much cheaper.. Hint Hint..

I forgot who currently has the eGo booster in stock. Totally Wicked recently made a big to-do about getting exclusive rights for the thing (rebranded the Tornado Booster) in their UK store, the US store will also have them later this month. Grimm Green did a video review of the booster THE EGO BOOSTER, IT WORKS! - YouTube

I did a review of the GotVapes USB eGo Pass-thru as well: Piper eGo Variable Pass-Thru: Impressions

GotVapes now has a model that has both a pass-thru and is a 650mAh battery I think as well.

Been using a Egobooster for almost a month and can say in all truthfulness that it'll resurrect your Ego vaping experience. Was getting tired of cool vapor. It's easy to use, just screws on between the battery and atty, adds a little more than an inch to the total length and lets you easily tailor the voltage to get the taste out of different ejuices. HappyVapor.com sells these up in Canada. Monitor the exchange rate between your currencies on yahoo finance and you may get it cheaper than I did, which was around $68 shipped. Run my juices now at between 3.7 and 4.2v for optimum vaping! Unit has a potentiometer that will give you between 3.2 and 4.7volts. Batteries will run down a little faster the higher the voltage but that could depend on who's vaping with it. Unit appears well made and has a 1 year warranty I believe. :thumb:

Happyvaper.com has them. They're made in Canada (or sold there at least). I started a thread in the mods section which you might want to check out. They work great, handle more power than a Provari, and work with any genuine Joye ego battery and most mods. Very economical @ around $70 including shipping. It uses a buck booster and is infinitely variable between 3.2 and 4.7v regardless of input. And unlike the VV ego batts, you don't have to wait for it while it's on the charger.
