I've had this eGo for almost 3 months and just lately it has been a pita. I push the button to fire the atty, the light goes on and Nothing happens. I think the problem is the button has become misplaced and needs to be re adjusted. Someone suggested removing the button and sliding the inner post ?? back into the center position. Problem is, I can't get the button off!!! I'v tried the needle and pin and pliers and everything I can think of to get the button off. Not gonna happen.

It's starting to get pretty banged up so I want to know if there is a trick to this or do I just need to order a new battery. Every once in a while it will work for a few drags then goes out to lunch again.

Any suggestions??

the button is BIGGER on the inside (to keep it from falling out).
Your statement that "the light goes on" means the switch is working.
An internal failure of the "eGo Magic circuit" (that is not fixable with a needle) may be the cause of no vape current.

A damaged insulator in the open end of the connector (damaged by over-tightening, or needles ::) may also be the cause but rapid flashing woould be the indication.

The "light comes on" and "will work for a few drags" points to center pin/insulator damage.

Thanks Rocketman for taking the time to come in and give me a hand with this. I have stopped "picking" at the button and have already replaced it with a new pink eGo battery. It was only a matter of time before I took off a finger with that big ole 18g needle :0

Appreciate your time.
