Ego-C and auto batteries?

Would an automatic battery work on an Ego-C or Ego-T? I may a Ego-C soon but I'm unsure if a tank system would work with an automatic battery. If so anyone know where I can get these at a good price? 650 mah would be fine.

Thanks for the solid info, I'm not very familiar with these setups (besides many reviews and pictures) being I've never used them. How likely do you think it would be for it to leak into the battery?

Soft caps for a tank system will work. I use a syringe for refilling my tank after the initial spike probe of the tank. I also cut out the leftover plastic on the cap afterwards. I only use Manual 1000mah batts for my tank system.

Tank systems tend to leak occasionally. This leakage could ruin an automatic battery. Therefore, I wouldn't recommend it.

With no leakage, I believe an automatic battery would work fine.

As said, a leak would cause the chip in the auto to malfuntion.

I had an auto and it worked well but died only after a month and it wasn't from a leak. It was dead after taking it off the charger one day.... I'm going to try another eventually.
