I've purchased several Ego-C's from egicbestsave.com over the last year. I'm starting to think I need to try something new. I've actually had 6 Ego-C batteries, 2 - 1000 mAh standard battery, 2 - 900 mAh adjustable voltage, and now 2 - 900 mAh VV LCD models. The best feature about them was being able to turn it off and not risk accidental use. The LCD models do not turn off. I emailed ecigbestsave.com and expressed my disappointment in the missing feature and they said, fine send them back and will charge you a 25% restocking fee. Come ON! they didn't make that clear in their ad, that they don't turn off and I've been a pretty good customer. Plus non of them have been very reliable. They get excessively hot, short out and require a recharge which brings them back for a short time or a long time, it's kind of a crap shoot, and generally don't really have a good long life. The LCD's are already acting funny in that the LCD window immediately after charging. drops a bar and quickly goes down to 2 bars only to jump up to 4 bars later. So I'm ready to try something simlar but better made and more reliable. Does anyone have a suggestion on a model and dealer. Thanks for your opinions.

If you can afford to invest in the batteries and charger, VAMO is a good choice, Sig Zmax cost a little more but is a another good choice. If you want to continue using ego style vv, stick with either the Joyetech Twist or Vision Spinner. They have VV and the five click on and off feature. I would also consider a different vendor, a 25% restock charge makes me think they will resell your now used batteries as new. When I buy something new, I want new, not a return from someone else.

as more and more stores pop up i would think you might have one in your area. I would go there and buy. I pay a little more, but no shipping so it works out. if i have an issue i have someone to talk to. they are good to deal with because they are new and normally you are talking to the owner or he is close by. Plus, you are helping someone in your area be sucessful. Everyone needs help. feels good to shop local.

Thats a good point, about reselling however in this case they hadn't been used yet other than to figure out there was no shut off!
So they could have resold these and made an extra 25%. Shame on them!
