okay so got my ego-c today 100 battery, and charger with clearomizer. fist thing i did was plug it into my usb car charger but no light came on thought it was supposed to so, I let it be for maybe 15 min so then i went back out to check it still no light I went ahead put on the clearomizer put my juice in it pushed the button 5 times and gave it a try it worked fine. i used it maybe 5 times total then went to use it and nothing happened I think the light was on but i didn't get anything out of it. so i came in and hooked it up to my wall usb adapter I finally found it. the red light came on where the plug is at, it was only maybe 10 minutes went back and the light was off, i gave it a try but now its not doing anything.

I unplug and plug back in and the light is on but then it goes out. is is suppose to be out when charged or what?
I am confused now if the unit is on or off, I am guessing when its off, if you press button it does nothing? then when its on and you press if you get a white or blue light?

Thanks for any help.

For Joye eGo-c's only. If the battery needs charging - the charger with no battery has a green light. When you screw the battery on, the charger light changes to red, the battery blinks 5 times in blue. When the battery is charged, the charger light turns green. If you shut the battery off (5 clicks) before putting it on the charger, it will be on when you take it off. The charger light never goes off - it's either red or green unless it isn't fully connected to a source - wall plug, car, etc.

If the battery needs charged and you put it on the charger and the charger light stays green, then you're not getting a connection between the battery and the charger. The charger may need cleaned - isopropyl alcohol (take it off line first)... OR the center post on the battery or charger has been shoved down and you need to pry them up easily.... if the battery charges but you are not getting a connection between the battery and the clearo/carto/atty then either the center post of the battery or the clearo needs to be pried up - again easy does it. If still no go, then it may be that the ohms on the clearomizer have dropped below 1.5 or 1.0 in which case you should try another clearo.

sorry this is the pass through battery, you unscrew the cap and plug in the mini cable. to usb. thats the only cable it came with.

Oh :D

In that case, if you leave it on the charger while vaping for instance, the white light at the end of the batt will go off once full or near full charge is made and then go off. It may not come on until some charge is run off but it will keep 'topping off' then the light goes out and the battery is fully charged.

In my car the car has to be on for it to charge and some cars (some years of ford trucks, I know) the usb simply doesn't work at all even though it may work as a cigarette lighter - don't know why that is, just know that it has been reported here by others.

And you can charge passthroughs on a regular eGo charger via the batt connection end... fyi.

Thanks, well my car has a separate 12volt port rather then cig lighter, but it might need to be on,, well it seems it must be my clearomizer, I got a extra one with the unit and i put juice in it and tried it and its working fine, I didn't pay attention first few times i used it but while im pushing the button to vap, its a lght blue color with the working clearomizer with the first one its not a color i think it flashes but then nothing. what could be wrong with my brand new clearomizer? the watermelon seems to be very thick, where the chocolate seems thinner.

It sounds like when I press the button I hear a noise from it but just not getting the vap and like said light not lighting up properly
thanks

Hard telling what might be wrong. A multimeter or an ohm meter from madvapes is a good thing to have around to check ohms. If ohms drops below 1.0 - 1.3ohm that can be fatal on eGo's. Sometimes the coil gets gunked up and the ohm will either drop or go up - I've seen both. The joye eGo-c has a short protection and I've had some clearos - vision stardusts blow that circuit. I use Tabac BCC's and mini protanks now. The batt will still work until the next short circuit. Not saying that's it, but it's possible.

how would you check the ohms? i guess the meter they have is a screw on meter? I have regular multi meters, anyway to test with a reg one? This is brand new just got today like said used maybe 5 draws and now its not drawing, maybe I should remove the e juice and take apart clean with ? what is best to clean them with? and put back together?

EDIT:Well I just took apart, cleaned the bowl with paper towel and took a paper clip and cleaned the inside the tube part. it seemed stopped up. now it working but it takes a lot to draw and hardly any vapor from it maybe the watermelon is just to thick for it? should i delude it with some distilled water or something?
