Hi David !
67 doesn't mean she's down for the count yet....Good for her-giving it a try...and Thank You for encouraging her !

I would suggest an eGo-c starter kit. I would hope that you, of someone could show her how to put it together initially-
though it's only five parts. This would provide two complete vaping units- easy to fill, easy to carry day to day.

Another thought might be a fixed voltage/wattage mod with a tank- something simple, like a Bolt ...wouldn't have to fill it often.

I would get her a couple of flavors from Mt Baker, Coffee w/cream, Butterscotch, Carmel, maybe a Fruit ????

Best to you both !

Thank you for recommendation!
It’s just that ego T is cheaper then ego C, what’s the difference?

The eGo T came out a few of years ago...not that's it's bad or anything...but their have been reports of leaking juice.
The ego-C has been out for a year plus, first a type A and now a type B...this refers to the cartrages (mouthpieces) that hold the Ejuice.
The type B have a slightly larger cartrages- holds about 2ml- a good 4 hours heavy vaping, might last a light vaper all day. The kits come with five cartrages, a battery charger, and five atomizers- plus two complete vape units.

Also- the kits are sold with 2- 650mah or 2-1000mah batteries. the 650 battery will last 4-5 hours before recharge, the 1000 will last... 8+ Hours.
(I got the 650s, then bought 2-1000 batteries as extras- haven't been able to run one down in a day of heavy vapping)

Best to You !

Not a big fan of the T myself, Love the C however. My only concern is that it might be a bit complicated for her. That, and they can both leak more than the following:

Why not CE4/CE5's?

I have fallen in love with my CE4 V3's on eGo batts.

The only thing she needs to know is how to slowly fill as to not saturate the center tube. Piece of cake. Colorful, same size, flavorful and cheap too, rebuildable or not.

I would venture a guess that she is not going to want to replace attys so why bother her with them?

I got one of these for my mom SmokTek Express eGo CE4 650 E-Cigarette Kit with a 30 ml RY4 juice.. She loved it and has since moved on to colored ego batteries and Mini Nova's. She found that she liked other flavors of ejuice too once she got started..LOL Good Luck!

That's an awesome start-up kit! Good price too.

Nice to see some skipping the "it has to look like an analog" step.

You have to replace the entire atomizer cone when the atomizer burns out on the ego-T (~$10). With the ego-C you keep the cone and just change out the atomizer head (~$4). It cost more to build it that way so your up front cost is higher but when it comes time to replace the heads the C would be cheaper. They both use the same tanks.

I have the ego-t system, ....fill the tank with maybe 15-20 drops of juice , should last her most of the day........sure the t style u need to replace the whole atty (cone thing), and yes they are ten bucks.........so maybe the C style is cheaper in the long run, just a little more work putting it together.....im still using the same atty...(2 months now), every week i run hot watter thru it fora few mins.....then it works again........for juices, i would recomend (Mt.Baker Vapor).....they have a great easy to use website.....and on line help....you will not find juices cheaper. They have many flavours, and if you use the online chat help, you can get the flavour she wants, with right nicotine...

I use the Ts as well but I use Janty's atomizers and tanks. They have a 6 month warranty so I figured if an atomizer will last me 6 months minimum then I'm not real concerned about the $10 cost.

It's like most things in life, the more you pay, the less you have to work.

I just bought my first (what I call "grown-up") setup three weeks ago. I was buying the ready-made kits and replacements at the convenience store, but those tasted nasty and the replacement cartridges were a waste of money. I purchased an ego-T-CE4 1300mah and clearomizers (since I know basically nothing about cartomizers/atomizers and all that other stuff, I needed something I can start out with that was simple to understand, easy to just "fill and go", until I learn more about it). Your dear friend will probably appreciate something simple, as well. She will most likely get frustrated and chunk the whole idea if it's too complicated and has too many components to tinker with. Just my opinion.

I have both Ego-C and Ego-T atto's (both type B). As other people have said you can change out more with the C so in the long run it will be cheaper. I find however that my C leaks much more than my T. I have already swapped out the plastic caps with silicone ones and it makes and improvement but my C still leaks a lot. The reason is that the Ego-T has a flat surface where the tank joins it at the wick, but the Ego-C has a grove on either side that allows juice to flow out of the sides. I have to store the C battery-up otherwise it gets into a right mess.

My setup now is to use a Nova Mini clearo on my ego batteries (yes they are compatible) and I can say it's so much better when it comes to ease of use and fiddly-ness. You just fill it up and vape. It doesn't leak at all whichever way up you leave it. I also find that the flavour is better but that may just be because it's newer so the jury is still out. The Ego attos get a burnt taste fairly quickly and I have to dry vape it once a week to restore the flavour. I don't take it apart because I did that once and ended up having to re-wick it when I destroyed the first one. I just take the tank out and vape it in small bursts without inhaling until the smoke stops and the wick turns white again. It's not pleasant this way but it works better than just using water on it.

All in all, I would not recommend any Eco attos to someone who does not want to keep having to maintain it and fiddle with it all the time. A clearo is much better IMO. I'm loving my Nova Mini, I'm going to get more of them in future.
