Hi,

I'm new to vaping and the forum so be gentle with me :)

I just got Ego C kit with two batteries. I like the size as it's very discreet but it seems like the plastic tank design is not very good. On second day, I started to notice that it leaks very easily. I had it secured to my "man-bag" (x-small messenger bag) and went for a long walk in hot weather and it seems to leak after that.

I saw few videos about how to fix this online but wanted to know what is good replacement. I think you call this clearo?

I live in Asia and prefer to get something I can easily mail order from HK. Is below something that works with my battery and is it good or is there something better out there?

Thanks in advance.

There have been a lot of reports of leaking with everything in hot weather. I have my Vamo with strawberry turned off and sitting in my ash tray (now an ecig tray) while vaping my eVic with mint and the smell of the strawberry was overpowering.

If you mean a complete Joyetech eGo-C kit with eGo-C top, I really can't imagine it leaking if kept clean. I used them exclusively for over a year with few problems. They'd start seeping around the cone and it was time to wipe them out, then they'd be good for another week or so. Wiping the tank off with every refill and wiping the cone out when I saw a build up made the actual tear downs and wipe outs not needed very often.
If it's a clone that's the problem, and it's probably not worth it to buy the Joyetech top outside of their kit, which itself isn't cheap.

As far as other options go. My Vision Vivi Novas with metal tanks can be leakers. I solved this by sanding the tanks shorter so they made better contact with the gaskets. No problem with leaking on the plastic tanks, just cracking.

My Kanger Protank has no problems at all. It's remarkably reliable in spite of hearing about others having leaks and breaking bases.

I think this is the latest updated post of the FastTech things to stay away from.

You can also ask if anyone has had a problem with what you're thinking about.
