Hi Geoffm and welcome to the forum!

I started off with the eGo-C system, and yes: leaking is a very common complaint. Unfortunately, there's very little you can do to solve the problem completely but there are a couple of things you can do to improve it.

One thing that does help is to use a very soft draw. If you hit those things too hard, they wick too fast and the liquid will try to escape any way it can.

What kind of juice are you using? I found that a 70/30 PG/VG ratio worked best in the eGo-C. Thinner juices would leak like crazy and thicker juices wouldn't wick at all.

You also mentioned that you're going through 2 tanks a day. Are you replacing the caps? They're not meant to be reusable. From memory, they cost about 10p each and you would do well to replace them on a daily basis as that will help to minimize leaking.

hi JJ thanks for the info. Im replacing the whole tip for a new one and using hangsen liquids, the tanks are quite expensive here - £4.75 for 5 do you know a site where I can get them cheaper? all the best g

You don't have to replace the whole tank. You can rinse and reuse them. You can replace just the caps if they start leaking. The silicone caps are better than the hard plastic ones as far as leaking goes. You can buy a ten pack of the silicone caps. I'm not familiar with UK vendors but look around.

Edited to add: you can also just buy a new delivery device for the top. The ego c batteries are great with a Vivi Nova, Kanger, or a carto tank. Good luck!

I used to buy all my spares direct from Joyetech UK. Their prices are actually quite competitive and they often have sales. They've got 20% off at the moment (until tomorrow).

eGo Empty Cartridges | E Cig accessories @JoyetechUK

eGo Cartridge Caps | E Cigarette accessories @JoyetechUK

Hope that helps.

I use my tank for a few weeks or more. I clean them with distilled water and I make sure I never lay it down. Also make sure the tip is in contact with the silicone center. I have had some that don't sit just right, and they leak badly. When it gurgles I use a q tip to clean the excess off battery. O, one more thing don't fill up to the fill mark. Stay below the spot where the wick comes out, it leaks at that spot a lot.
