Ego-C twist charging problems?

Hi,

I bought a non joyetech ego-c twist battery kit the other week which came with the battery, a usb charger and a clearomizer.
Tonight I bought a real joyetech ego-c twist battery by itself (no charger etc).

When I charge up the non joyetech battery, the light on the charger is red, when it's done it turns green.

However, I decided to plug in the real Joyetech battery tonight before bed to see if it needed a charge. Initially the charge light is red, but every 5 seconds it flashes the green light for maybe a half of a second and then returns to red again for another 5 seconds then flashes green again and continues to do this.

Is this indicative of a faulty battery?

The charger seems to work as it charges up the non joyetech battery just fine but it does not exhibit this green flash every 5 seconds when I'm using the charger on the non joyetech battery.

The light blinks green to indicate how close to fully charged the battery is. The faster it blinks green, the closer you are to charged (think of it as the more green you see, the more charge the battery has).

I bet if you watch the charger when it's charging the non-joyetech batt, you'll see the same blinking as it approaches fully charged.
