I've a ego-c twist 1300 mah battery and I use it with a Ce5+ clearomizer. I have to say I love the ego twist! However mine seems to have a connection problem...

Usually after vaping I will unscrew the clearomizer (so that it becomes 2 parts for easier keeping into my pockets). So everytime when I screw it nicely back on, it doesn't fire up. The firing button lights up but it's not doing anything. I usually have to try a few ways such as unscrew the clearomizer off and on a few times/adjust the voltage up and down/ or even shake and knock my battery before I could get it work again.

I've also tried the method of using a pin to lightly pull up the metal piece in the center. This doesn't helps a bit.

My battery is only 1 week old. And I'm getting frustrated over this issue. I'm suspecting the problems lies on the adjustable voltagen dial switch... I don't think it's my clearormizer problem because it works perfectly with my other ego batteries.

Can someone help? Thanks

I think the genuine ego c twist only goes up to 1000mah. You might have a knock off. That might be why your having troubles. Look up how to spot a fake ego c twist. According to the articles I've read genuine joyetech only goes to 1000mah. Does it have they joyetech logo etched on the bottom of the pen? On the top of the battery where you join the tanks does it have CE etched on the head? Does it have do not throw in trash symbol etched on it. When charging does the light go out? These are some things the genuine ego c twist has. You might be dealing with a knock off. Could be why your having issues.

I think there's something wrong with your battery. Where did you get it? It should still be under warranty. Contact your vendor and ask for a replacement.

However, if it's just a simple and common connectivity problem, try those circuit board spacers--sold by MadVape. Just drop one onto the center pin of your battery's 510 post and it will ensure proper contact with any atomizer you screw onto it!

Circuit Board Spacer

I have an MVP 2 that wouldn't play nice with certain toppers and those spacers solved the problem. Madvapes has a coupon code: ECF5OFF

The most common cause of battery problems, if that's what this is, is that they need recharging. The second is that they need cleaning - very easy to get juice on the pin, especially when you replace a newly filled atty. A little clean out with a tissue might solve your problem.
