Well I was searching around and found this ego twist blister pack for what seems to be a decent deal from the US. Can anyone concur?

I wouldn't buy off of eBay. The kit only has one battery too, which (unless you have another device) will leave you vapeless while you are charging. No, you cannot charge the battery when you're are sleeping.

I always suggest new vapers get at least one authentic battery, since people have less problems with them, but if that's not in your budget you can get the same kit for much less.

If you don't want to wait for shipping from China, you will probably have to pay a bit more, but there are deals around if you look.

I used one for a while it worked well. I didn't want to wait so I just bought it at a local vape shop for 25 bucks. You can definitely get them much cheaper if your willing to wait on shipping.

Unless they've changed recently, the eGo C-Twist does not come in a passthrough configuration.

VV "Twists" from Alibaba come up in a search, but they aren't Joyetech. I can't figure out how a Twist could be a passthrough anyway because of the dial. I have seen VV passthroughs around, but not a Twist style.

"simple" batteries take only joyetech (better). But Twist of joyetech does not happen by 1100 mAh. It would be better to take just joyetech

There are a few VV PT's out there similar to the Innokin, Some of them only Charge like a PT. If you run the batt all the way down, you'll have to wait for a bit. IIRC

I love my MVP, personally I wish I had just bypassed all of the starter kits and just started at the simple mods. I would have saved myself A few hundred bucks

I'm a believer in a good (Twist/ego) starter kit. I think they allow the focus to be on the carto and flavors until the person is ready to get well informed about our type of batteries and charging etc.

IMHO If it is a first kit I would go with a genuine brand name. More reliable and worth the few extra dollars. Who needs futzing about problems on their first day. Save the cheepies for later on.
