i picked up 2 type b starter packs last week, one of them seems to constantly leak.

the first day when i noticed it leaking, i figured it's the plastic cap, so i replaced it with the silicone cap. next day, it's leaking again. i figure maybe i just received a bad cap, so i put on another silicone cap - same issue. any thoughts on this? bad tank? bad atomizer? bad atomizer housing? i really don't know what to think at this point or what to try changing. could it be a bad cone?

Hi Michael,

You are local, if you can get to the store, Dennis will show you how to adjust the wick and clean. If the cap doesn't solve it and the tank is seated, then it is the viscosity of the liquid in relation to the amount of constriction you are getting from the wick in the tube. I do have videos on that in youtube as well... search 'cignotinc'.

Thank you! I so admire your discreetness! It takes a lot for us to close... not rain or snow or illness...

oh no, i didn't mean that at all, thats why i said i understand, i didn't want to say anything here about that without permission. no worries at all. i will say at first i saw the closed sign and i was like WTF, then i saw the note on the door and i felt terrible.

Sometimes with a thinner wick, I will kind of jam it from the bottom to give it more girth inside the tube... or replacing it is always good. :)

anyways, i replaced the wick in the atty, and so far no leakage, the wick must of been bad. so no big deal, although i'm going to the store today to get some more supplies!
