Is anyone else having this problem? I bought the new silicon caps and tanks, (a pack of five this week) and did the usual pre-punch a hole, fill and replace the cap, and insert into the atomizer. Then to refill, remove the cap put in the juice and replace the cap. but the cap is now lubricated by the juice and after a second or two pops off the tank because there is no adhesion and no indentation to clip it on. Pops off with a little pop and lands somewhere across the table. Once this happens, it is Russian Roulette to put on the cap, hold it, then insert as rapidly into the atomizer before the cap ejects itself and spills juice everywhere. Needless to say, removing the tank from the atomizer inevitably leave the cap inside the atomizer.
This Ego-t type B ( I cannot speak for type A) is an engineering disaster. It should have a positive clip cap similar to the old plastic one, with a pre-drilled hole and a proper integral sealing "O" ring. The metal tube on the base should be blunt and should not need to cut the hole into the cap - not that it does with the silicon ones anyway unless you pre-punch them. The caps should last forever but I suppose that would be to the detriment of Ego sales. My pack of five tanks all have the same problem.
I bought these from GreenhouseOne and are claimed to be genuine Ego!
