Okay gang, I'm at a standstill and need some help. Guess you could say I'm suffering from a bit of information overload at this point, thanks to this forum.

I'm just over two weeks using my eGo with no analogs at all, and looking in to bettering the experience. As far as carts/cartos go, so far I've only used:
1) The stock eGo cart/attys
2) Joye eGo cartomizers (do NOT get these-they're horribly designed)
3) VaporKing LR 510 cartomizers.

Having moved from the cart/atty combinations, I definitely want to stay on the carto side of things. However, to be honest, the VK LR cartos didn't overly amaze me. I ordered 10 and over 1/3 of them arrived with issues, although after talking to VK they offered to replace them for free. No big deal; but, I'm one of those types that want the best, right from the start.

That said, I've spent a few days reviewing the suggestions from members here. Some say get an 808 adapter and Boge 808 cartos. Then again, some say regular Boge 510 cartos. I've found I (surprisingly) don't like most tobacco flavored liquids, especially since my taste is returning, and I'm sticking more towards the sweeter stuff, which I've read normally work better with higher resistance (ohm) cartos. Guess the fact I can't normally eat sweets is transferring over and forcing me to get the sweets covered somehow.

So yeah, I need some opinions.. Do I go stock ohm KR808s with an adapter or stay with 510s? Also note that I *HATED* the Joye's cartomizer design after I found out just how easy the soft tip variety are to fill, so the suggestions MUST be soft tip or similar.

I appreciate the help..

Side note: Are the passthroughs worth the $25?

Here's the thing with an eGo - it only puts out 3.2 volts. So you really don't have to worry about burning the juices. It'd be awfully tough to do.

I liked the CE2 cartos (RoyalSmokers brand). They're fairly easy to fill, and the regular carto size wicked well and did what I needed. I used the 2.4 to 2.6 ohm, and most of them were down around 2.4 ohms when I measured them. At that resistance I got decent vapor, flavor could have been stronger, but it did all right. I have to admit I did change to a VV unit (the ProVari) because I like the idea of variable voltage. Using the same cartos, I found my sweet spot was at about 4.0 volts. I also use the sweeter flavors - right now I'm vaping Blueberry Cheesecake.

On my eGo's I swear by the Boge LR 2.0ohm mega cartos. On MODS I go with 2.8 ohm. They are soft cap and can be purchased at nHaler, Liberty Flights, Puresmoker or Provape. Others carry them too. I have tried most cartos and now I have over 50 of these in stock. I mostly drip so switching to a carto can be a let down, these never fail me.

T3ase,

I have your answer

Try the Joye LR306 attys from Liberty flight in a 5 pack. Make sure to click on the save 20 percent on the upper left of the home page. These are only for drippin, and you need a drip tip with these in order to use your ego cone. They are built differently then the 510 but good Jesus! the flavor and vapor, and throat hit rock!!!!!

I have tried many cartomizers, and mods, and I have settled for one that has batting in it. The bogge cartomizer has great flavor, which I find is lost with so many cartomizers.

DFWVapor.com is having sale for a buck a piece right now. I ordered 20 yesterday morning and they are already in the mail!

These LR306 attys and the bogge cartomizers work awesome with the ego.

I vape exclusively on the 510 whether on my eGo's or Screwdriver. I am a solid die hard carto person. I have tried at least 15 various cartos including the new CE-2's. The best cartos to me are from Vapure, not a huge supplier here at ECF, and no I am not affiliated with them. I have yet to kill ONE over the last three months. The only downfall you have to pick up one of their adapters in order to use their cartos. I love them and highly reccomend them. I just went there and see they are out of stock, I just emailed support to see when they will have more in. Everything they make are from the US also, if that makes any difference to you. Good luck!!!!

I like the eGO XL cartos. They WERE my favorite until I just got the eGO T (Tank) Atty and tanks. These things are AWESOME! I've been flipping back and forth between the tank and the XL with the same juice and the juice tastes cleaner with the tank. No liquid in my mouth, no burnt taste as the filler runs out (because there is none), easy to fill - it's wonderful!

BUT, they do make your flavors more muted so I'd suggest getting double or triple flavor when you order your e-liquids. There are many sites here where you can do that. They also suggest not using a mix that's got more than 30% vg, but so far I've used 60pg /40vg and 65pg /35vg with no problems.

I've tried FluXomizers (like them but they're a pain to fill and if you ever want to clean one...good luck to you)
Boge 2.0 cartos - HATE them. Everything I tried them on tastes burnt
Mega Atty and Carts - could never get these to work for me
XL cartos - like I said, my favorite before these

I've already switched flavors in my one cart, and had NO problems. Vaped off the extra inside the atty (it seems to hold a bit even after the tank is empty), put a couple of drops of the new flavor in the battery end hole, blew it out, put about three more in, put on tank with new flavor, and it was wonderful!

LOVE THEM!

I never tried this vendor so thought to try them out with your great price offer, but I can't find them :-(
